I bought this for 800 bucks, put a transmission in it and it runs great. It has the 5.0 liter 305 cid V8, 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission with a 10 blot rear (4X2). Gets 16 - 18 miles to the gallon. Not a fan of the vinyl seat, will be replaceing it with a cloth asap.Sep 20, 2010

midnight blue paint, front kc lights (not pictured), reg cab, long box, with toolbox, and soft tonnue cover, tinted windows with back sliding window, newly rebuilt motor, newly rebuilt trans.,nice chrome exhaust tips on duel exhaust, airbags in the back for heavy hauling, 285/75 on 16 inch mickey thompson classic rims. most reliable truck so far, it will keep going and going as long you take care of it, i've beaten my truck up nearly everyday and it has held up pretty well. i've had this truck since 2005 and it had 164k miles on it and now its still going.Aug 09, 2008

I changed my transmission filter and then put 4 quarts back in and keep checking it and is still on low I don't want to add to much, most people I talk to said they only had to put 3 or 4 quarts back in at the most, should I keep adding and checking.

my truck doesn't start after it rains, what should i do?
My Truck was running rough, so i put new spark plugs in it (cheap ones). It ran more smoothly, but now it won't start after it rains. If i put better plugs in would that fix things? I don't know what else to do. suggestions?

Popping noise
My 96 gmc z71 k1500 made a popping noise after plugs and wires were changed. On take off it popped 3-4 times then drove good. Did this on each take off. When I put in reverse and gave a little gas it died. Any suggestions would be appreciated
