high idle in all gears

when the truck is turned on the check engine light usually comes on. if i turn the vehicle off and pump the gas pedal then re start it it usually goes off. while the check engine lights on it is in a low constant start of acceleration and jumps or lurches while shifting into drive or thru gears.its odd cause it can be temporarily corrected by turning the car of and rapidly pumping the gas pedal. so is it safe to assume its an accelerator issue?

Passenger rear tire locks up

Passenger rear tire locked up but when break pedal is applied it unlocks for a brief moment then locks up again any ideas

Would a 4l80 replace my 4l60 transmission

I have a 1994 gmc 1500 5.7 and my 4x4 trans went. I am just wondering would the same year of a 4l80 replace the 4l60?

Runs great for 20 minutes then starts to run rough/misses occasionally

Ran as described above but recently would not start, a day later it would then run similarly as above. After running for about 45 minutes it started to idle very fast. Am trying to get diagnostic codes.
