I like the general look of the car, but have several dislikes. I dislike the fact that it lacks cup holders, has the original radio, has no rear ac vents on the floor or ceiling. However, do like the fact that I can do most mechanical work myself. Aug 16, 2011

best car i owned, went threw hell and still running to this day. 3 accidents, stolen and still going...how can it be...cause it's Oldsmobile tough! who know that v6 had the get up it had too. Wanna question it?Aug 28, 2009

its a good car that has held up under my types of drivign and gets 30ish mpg's i have not had to do much to it and i love driving it. i would recommend it to anyoen looking for a first car May 02, 2009

The car was slow, wobbly, not built too well. Couldn't beat a dump truck of the line it was so slow. Didnt like to be seen driving it, Windows quite after about 150,000 miles. Handle busted over the winter. Just no fun to drive, but it did get me from A to B with out many problems. But that was until the car blew up.Dec 16, 2008

This was actually a pretty cool little car, it looked like an old lady speacial, but it was very clean, had it college for about a year. Car was orginally designed in 1982 to have a 90 hp 4 cylinder, this one had a 160 hp V6, and it flew. Was neat, and would win races, but you'd never know from looking at it.May 06, 2008

A good, reliable car that can be found fairly inexpensively these day. Almost no electrical gizmo's, so it is easy to fix a lot of things yourself. Performance is decent, and it rides nicely, although it does handle like a boat.

old engineering even then. springs and shocks softer than silk sheets on a cloud. had rust problems(what 1980s-mid 90s gm didnt?) bad ergonomics. small trunk for its size. weird door mounted seat belts. I was sick when my parents bought theirs when I was little, and my grandma suspension rusted away nearly killing her and later the mechanic.Dec 08, 2007

93 ciera 3.3 won't turn over on first try
I've replaced the starter, fuel pump and strainer, battery is good.. Loud sound that comes from the area of the tank when trying to start it, once that sounds stops after the 3rd to 5th time I know that the very next crank it will turn over. I'm thinking some injector cleaner and new spark plugs, or bad sending unit? Possibly the PROM chip?
