I bought this car as a project, not knowing it had sat for 13 years doing nothing. New plugs and a fuel pump and filter and it was on its way. Ive had this car for almost 4 years now and have touched EVERY part of it. Ive done head gaskets, tranny filter and flush, cooling system, timing chain, cv shafts, suspension, all of it. And I will say, the 3.1 is a good motor. This cars tranny slows it down for good gas mileage and it certainly gets that. Its lightweight but if you put some wider tires on it it gets around just fine in the winter. Ive never personally gotten stuck in the montana winters. Its easy to work on for most things but parts are getting super scarce for the body's. However these engines were in everything and share lots with the 3.4 which were in EVERYTHING. My issues I have with the car stem from it sitting for so long. But even then this cars as old as I am and spent half of its life sitting and rotting and its still running as my daily driver. Its a good car but do try to take care of it. It'll return the favor.

This car is not bad after all... who would think an 90s American car can go the distance, currently @ 183K miles. original engine, transmission, radiator,... only issue I had so far was water pump (twice), generator, power window (both of them went out 5 years ago, and I replaced my self for $100), and most recently the AC unit is not cold. All and all, it had been very reliable - which shocked the heck out of everyone include myself because I hardly take care the car asides from changing oil and filter every 3K to 4K miles religiously. PS, I bought this car used when it was 3 years old with 30K on it.

the stereo system pounds the hell out my car and the tinted windows make it so private. it has good gas mileage and runs good for an old car. Its fun to drive and doesnt cost much for repairs. Overall i really love my car.
