It was my first car and it is a few months older than I am but it runs like a champ. When I got it it didn't have a straight body panel on it but everything still works fine. It has a little rust in places where the paint came off due to body damage. Oct 23, 2012

my step dad and i put in a brand new crate motor 350 with the matching tranny. we built a custom 18inch lift with wish bone and 4 link suspension. 39inch irok tires and weld rims. the whole underneath is Chevy.Dec 11, 2010

Neva look 2 shabby outside, but inside culda do wid some work, an some steam fish did spill inna it one time, an a fabric seat, so u know how dat go.

Oil burning 1qt every 700miles
I apologies if this post has been started before but I have an 88 trooper that consumes about a quart every other fill up. I've read that this is a common issue with this era as the source lies in the engine's design, too few oil return ports/ return ports sludge up/ leaky rings. I can’t seem to find any sure fire fix to the issue aside from a rebuild/ swap with newer year engine. I've also read about pulling the plugs and seafoaming it overnight to try and clean up those ports, I've also read flushes seem to help. Has anyone tried anything else with much luck?? Please help!!
