I bought this car about 2 years ago for $800 at a cheap dealer in Reno. It was so cheap because the paint chipping off made it so nobody wanted it. It was my first car and has been so reliable. It has taken a lot of damage at my hand but refuses to die. This is the most reliable car you could ask for. Last year someone ran into my car and badly damaged it but the engine and other components are still running strong surprisingly enough. This car is a testament to America and the strong vehicles we produce. If you have the chance to pick up one of these cars go for it! I have gotten my money's worth with this vehicle and was one of the best purchases I have ever made. It has taken me all over California and Northern Nevada. Perfect roadtrip car.Feb 04, 2014

Very good car, picked it up for $800, had to replace power steering pump, other than that no major issues except for hole in muffler and one back tire has a bubble. Decent acceleration, brakes feel worn out though. Gas mileage is a lot better than my other car, a 1991 Crown Vic.Apr 21, 2010

1986 was the first year... the tranny gave out at 25k and the computer was recalled for extremely low idle. it stalled while coasting. this coupe had no options like a "type R" lol!!! it was quicker than most but it needs a balanced shaft and the first year nearly fell apart. later on, the power steering failed and got replaced by the dealer free. GM replaced alot of parts. it spent 2 months in the shop. luckily we had extended warranty. by 50k miles it was a rebuilt car! the alcohol in the fuel caused much of the fuel injectors to leak. we ended up replacing 4/6 fuel injectors due to worn seals in the fuel injector.Aug 08, 2009
