for a 25 yr old car it can still run wit newer cars on the highway. acceleration is great especially past 100. handles like a dream. brakes in need of a sports upgrade doh (cross drilled or vented or both). not an aerodynamic car by a longshot but great build quality. obvious noises coz of its age but only coz of driveshaft alignment issues. in dire need of paint right now!! parts are easy to find but kinda expensive but it costs pretty much de same to fill as most cars in its class as far as driving it?? factory rated 192hp (understated of course) it's funFeb 16, 2011

good performance , but need some speed , braking more than enough ,good at handling. appearance good . for the gas mileage it took a lot of gas in town , in free way say 100km for 11.2liters at speed ( 130km/h -175km/h) May 04, 2010

It doesn't look like much, being a little beat up and all, but she's got it where it counts, hauls stuff, hauls five people, hauls ass faster than a lot of new cars that are much lighter and aerodynamic. Parts can be expensive but its a very robust and well built vehicle that will just go and go as long as you take care of it(i.e. regular maintenance like oil changes and replacement of wear and tear items)Jun 07, 2009

I like my volvo, I paid $500 bucks for it and its been one of the best cars i have owned. It has a good working heater, always starts up and runs like a champ. I would recomend a volvo for anyone who just want to get from a to b.Sep 05, 2008

One of Volvo's best, this car is designed to last. Many out there have over 500,000 km, mine just passed 370,000 and runs like a charm. If you are sick of watching the value and reliability of your car drop after it is only a couple years old and want a good, reliable, cheap daily driver, this is the one for you.Mar 15, 2008
