custom engine, trans, exhaust, seats, belts, suspension, wheels, tyres, and no body right now. not much left on it that's stock so a review of a stock jeep would be useless. hopefilly 12 mor months I will have built it up to be the custom jeep I've always wanted.Oct 18, 2010

Has 3 inch body lift 6 inch suspension lift (sping over axle) sits on 31 inch off road tires. Use on offroad trails, camping and canoeing. It handles not bad on the highway but is much better in the bush.Jun 16, 2010

It's a 28 year old Jeep I bought very cheep and need a lot of work but I did most to all of the work myself. It was a rare jeep with the 258 inline six with a automatic transmission and full time 4X4 so the gas mileage wasn't the greatest but for something that old ok.Jan 18, 2009

Meilleur véhicule hors route, facilement modifiable, bon comportement, j'ai juste hate de le remettre sur la route. On a mit un v8 ce qui est meilleur pour faire virée les 39 pouce qu'on lui a greffer. il est tres plaisant a conduire surtout dans toit ni porte. C'est un mixte entre un body de jeep et une mécanique de GM c'Est ce que nous avions sous la main a l'époque.Oct 20, 2008

I traded my 1964.5 Mustang for this 1979 Jeep CJ7 while I was in high school. My father purchased the Jeep and I was still working on the Mustang restoration when I made the trade deal with my Dad. This Jeep was so much fun. I had her on 3 wheels, 2 wheels, and 0 wheels (yes, airborne) many times while 4-wheeling. The Jeep inflicted much physical pain to my body while doing stupid stuff as a high school student who didnt know better. I learned a lot about life, pain, and repair bills with this Jeep.Oct 06, 2008

Worth / price for a 1979 Jeep CJ7
Have a 79 CJ7 with a (not original) V8 motor with <50,000 miles. Any idea of a range to sell? Body in good condition. Riveting over any prior rust. Matching tires with near perfect tread (guy who sold to us said about 3000 in tires?).
