I have owned this baby for 20 years now. It turned 30 in November of 2008. As far as I am concerned, it will be with me for the rest of my life. This is not a common vehicle, and it is not for common people.

An emblem of the true american dream: what Daisy Duke drove, and what everybody would like to drive in hardcore offroad. Sheet metal body tub over ladder chassis with oversized engine and components along with iconic appearance make for THE offroad vehicle.

I traded my 1964.5 Mustang for this 1979 Jeep CJ7 while I was in high school. My father purchased the Jeep and I was still working on the Mustang restoration when I made the trade deal with my Dad. This Jeep was so much fun. I had her on 3 wheels, 2 wheels, and 0 wheels (yes, airborne) many times while 4-wheeling. The Jeep inflicted much physical pain to my body while doing stupid stuff as a high school student who didnt know better. I learned a lot about life, pain, and repair bills with this Jeep.
