great little car, quick for a 30 year old car, best car ive ever had for comfort, looks and performance.
quite a cheap car if you know anything about cars as you can fix it yourself no plastic crap hiding the real engine.Apr 08, 2010

MGB starts runs well for 3 to 4 min and quits. Has fuel at the carbs, pump runs well fuel at carbs. Spraying starter fuel in the carb does not rev engine. After it quits turn the key it restarts but will not run. Wait a couple of min and restart it will again run well for 3to 4 min and quit.
Car has electronic egnition. Fuel pump works. Carbs have fuel. New coil. Just replaced the clutch. The car ran and started well before pulling the engine

1978 mgb cranks but wont fire.
Car ran great yesterday. Today won't fire. Pretty sure I have fuel. Added a little to make sure. You can hear the fuel pump clicking, but it keeps clicking. It usually gets quiet when you get pressure. Getting fuel at carbs. Have converted twin SU's. You can smell gas like its flooded, but I didn't flood it. Spark plugs are wet.
