Truck is very very nice offroad. I bought it for a grand, It requires hundreds upon hundreds of dollars in DIY repairs (to a well trained mechanic) Rusts very fast, but very workable. Almost/ if not all parts very common, cheap.Apr 09, 2015

Gutless 305. A 350 would be better. The body on these truck rust out and the look
is old. This truck never gets stuck and hauls whatever I need. The brakes are
awesome and its fun in the winter. It never gets stuck and handles well in the snow

I love this truck, the performance was great and it handled well for a big truck with a rake. Mine had a bad outer body but thats what made it fun, it was almost a rat rod truck. It was crazy fun to drive and totally worth the $800. I got really lucky on this one only to have to pull motor for my s10 then leave at my old house after i left :(Nov 02, 2011

It has a lot of torque, it has a lot of work to be done to it. It's rough looking, but that's expected of a 1984. And yes it's fun as hell to drive. Sucks on gas. And needs work.Oct 29, 2011

Lifted 6 inches on 37 inch mudders. Has front and rear lockers. 4.11 gears. Built 355 Small Block Chevy with a built 700R4 behind it. Awesome in the snow and amazing in the mud. Best truck I've ever owned by far.Jan 13, 2011

It is still under construction; new, body, paint, motor, tranny, suspesion, interior, basically a complete rebuild. the motor will be somewhat better than stock. the body will be stock. the paint and interior are still undecided. hoping to make a nice show truck.Jan 18, 2010

This is my current daily driver. I sold my '02 S10 ZR2 to get out of debt and bought this good old chevy pickup for $1000. It has a 350 crate motor with 50k miles on it, a 700R4 trans, and a 3.73 10 bolt rear end. It actually gets decent mileage for an old truck and its reliable as can be.Jul 31, 2009

'84 C10 (2wd), Reg cab, Long Bed, 350 SB, 700-R4, American Racing Outlaw II wrapped in Bridgestone shoes.
It was originally my father's truck, which got handed down to me when I turned 16 =). The truck hasn't been driven for a number of years now and is in the process of being torn down and rebuilt. A 412 BB is going in along with a TH-350 and a set of 3.73's out back mated to an Eaton locker. I want the truck to be my show/weekend truck when I'm finishedMay 14, 2008

I am a new owner of a 1984 chevy C10 Silverado, I spotted an oil leak from near the oil pain but not from it. Not sure what this piece is called but it appears as if a bolt is missing. Is this a big deal or do I just need a bolt, if so what size? Pictures are worth a 1000 words

I have a 1984 chevy k10 with a 305. I just bought a newly reman quadrajet 4bbl. Idles rough when put into gear.
So I put this reman quadrajet 4bbl on my 305. I can get it to idle good in park but as soon as it goes in gear, it runs rough. So I adjusted the fast idle up to compensate but now when i cut the truck off, it will diesel on me. I checked my vacuum hoses and they are good and connected correctly. What am i missing here?
