I thought at first what great costumer service. But once I decided I wanted the vehicle their behavior changed drastically. I looked at the vehicle it was misrepresented. There was a lot of scratches all over it. Once I climbed in I saw how dirty it was. They didn’t even bother to clean it up. There was no mention of scratches or dirty interior mentioned.

Friendly and helpful staff. Inexperienced salesman but not unpleasant. Finance and management were easy to work with. Only comp!aint is the car was not pulled up from auxiliary lot or warned up as I was told it would be upon my arrival from 90 minutes away.

Not thrilled with the service. I asked about this vehicle, which was posted as a manual transmission, but with pictures of the interior clearly showing an automatic. So I asked and was told it is an automatic. So I was asked what type of transmission I was looking for an replied expressing my interest in a manual. Within a few days I received an email with the listing for another automatic transmission vehicle...

What matters most to persons like me was that they are able to listen to the customer and try to address the customer's needs the best they can. Highly recommended.

I bought a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was mis-represented as I was lied to about the condition of the vehicle. The first time I got the Jeep up to 70 mph the steering wheel should shake violently. It was so bad it was hard to hold the steering wheel. It turns out the Jeep had a collapsed left front shock, the bushings in the left upper control arm were, and although the right upper control arm was replaced by Van Horn it was a defective part missing some reinforcements. When it was removed the right arm was determined to be bent. All these repairs were required even though the suspension was signed off on the window sticker. The next issue was with the cooling system. To repair it the coolant had to be drained. The coolant was brown and burnt. This would be expected with the mileage BUT the Carfax supplied to me at the time of sale (which the salesman Ivan made me sign) says that Van Horn flushed the cooling system prior to sale. There is no way the coolant could be that bad in 3000 miles. Had I not had a problem with the cooling system I would have never flushed the system of the bad coolant thinking it had just been done. This could have caused damage to many major components. In all the repairs required in the first month of ownership amounted to about $2500. I understand that the Jeep has high mileage and I was prepared for it to need some repairs, but I feel these are unacceptable because Van Horn's documentation led me to believe these items had been addressed. I was in touch with the Platform VP Tim and he promised to make things right. He did reimburse me $270 for the front shocks (parts only, no labor) and promised to reimburse me for the control arms (again parts only) but it's been a month and I haven't seen a check only. Tim has also quit responding to me after I brought the coolant issue to his attention. What Van Horn completely failed to take care of me, the customer after the sale. Please learn from the mistakes of others and steer clear of Van Horn dealerships.

We were looking at mini coopers, we were looking for a white one and from what the pictures showed in looked in good condition, we were in contact with the dealer and asked the condition, they replied it was a 10 out of 10, we got our financing together and made a 4 1/2 hour drive to look at it, assuming we'd be taking it home, When we opened the door noticed the drivers seat was all ripped up on one side, still decided to take it for a drive, once in we noticed there were scuff marks everywhere and the top of the car was dirty, all over, turned the car on and the check engine light was on, the front windshield was also cracked which they said happened when the car was washed, and they were willing to replace it. Turned in the keys and left, would have appreciated a more honest representation of the vehicles condition before we made the drive. In the purchase sheet they also had about $500 worth of "service fees" that we asked about and never explained what they were for, other than they were the fees.

The truck was not a good quality vehicle. Had been in 2 accidents and the fixed damage was noticeable as well as rust was already forming on top of the truck where part of the bad paint job was at. Broken headrest screen as well. I'm shocked they would even try to sell this vehicle to someone.

The finance team also did a great job working with my bank to complete the deal. They had the vehicle I wanted and didn't have to haggle over price and trade-in value. No high-pressure sales. Buyer beware, the sales manager admitted to me that they sell vehicles that have been in major accidents and have tarnished titles. The Pathfinder we were headed to purchase already had major mechanical issues that were repaired prior to putting it for sale and it was a 2014. This could affect the warrentes. This information was not shared with me and had I not been tipped off by another dealer I would not have known.

We bought the car because it was a good deal but the experience was not so great. They lied about covering taxes for IL (instead I have to pay when I register the car) and didn't even bother to run the car through a wash even after it was being signed for.

Contacted them about the car. Got up there to see it that night... The trade in on my truck was good... price of the Lincoln was great. .. And monthly payments were good also. Zach our salesman was great very helpful. All our questions were answered and we drove home that night with a 2012 lincoln mkz. I purchased my last truck here 5 years ago.. was impressed with the quality of service so I went back for the my next vehicle... And I will continue to purchase my vehicles here .

Bought a car here and when I drove it off the lot the oil came out.. They refused to give me my money and trade vehicle back, but offered me $5000 less than I paid for the vehicle for a trade up to a brand new car. Vehicle was fixed because of Hyundai's warranty, but I wanted my money back. I don't trust the vehicle now. Maybe my bad experience can save you from the same happening to you. Don't buy from them.

Salesman was friendly and helpfull. Financial department (Mike) on the other hand first tried to make me pay more than markdown on car, then told me i had to purchase vehicle warranty or the interest rate i had was going to change and increase if i didnt purchase it. I dont believe this to be true that a financial institution would not loan an individual money because they refuse to add a dealers backed warranty.

Salesman talked to me as if I hadn't a clue about the car I was interested in. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted and the going rate. I drove 50 miles one way only to discover the car had previously been in an accident out of state.

I have had over 20 vehicles and this is by far the most disappointing because I really wanted to buy the car. Car looked and smelled like farm. Salesperson unable to answer questions about vehicle history. Vehicle was a rental bought at auction with damages that were not explained. It was a horrible experience and the service was unprofessional. Your choice but there are many dealerships out that you can do better with.

This is a family operated dealership and they really are interested in a good experience for both you and themselves. Treated me with respect and they offer a good fair no haggle price, but are willing to fix any problems to help the sale. Big Mike was great. I bought a 2004 PT Cruiser with Turbo at a fair price and I can't wait to pick it up Monday.
