I am having to dispute the charge on my card for the 250 deposit since no one will respond back to me regarding my request for a refund. After reading car fax I determined that the damage was worse than the salesperson represented. I was OK with the salvage title but not the difficulty I had just getting information from them. Buyer beware.

All Salvage Title vehicles. The damages they describe would not result in total losses from Insurance companies. New Grill and Headlights is a repair, not a total loss. Their salespeople undersell the damage just like they bury 'branded' into the description. Buying a car with damage history can be fine if you are getting honest information and know what you are doing but these sales people are not being honest and the positive reviews look like they are from unknowing victims more than satisfied customers. Buyer Beware!

Was ok, but as I was putting together the money and arranging a PPI, they sold the car without even letting me know. We talked Fri, I said I'd confirm with my wife and setting up the PPI on sat, and they sold it Sat, it's their right to do so, but pretty damn rude to not even tell me they had hot leads waiting.

Car description somewhat misleading but not necessarily mischievous. The site states "branded" vehicles... most folks do not know what "branded" refers to. The way it is written, it intimates brand name vehicles, NOT rebuilt, salvage, flood, etc. type titles for said vehicles. A simple call verifies this and to their credit, they are upfront about when speaking with them, they make it perfectly clear. What they do not make clear is their added flat rate fee percentage of 12% added to the price at time of sale. Nor are they selling the vehicles at prices that "branded" title vehicle should sell for. At best, they should never sell for more than 50% of value and they really need to forewarn potential buyers of possible insurance issues. For example, I am with a top line insurance company, the branded title vehicle requires verification by their underwriters and liability only is 4.5x higher than full coverage would be for a like year and model certified pre-owned vehicle with a regular title. When asking of damages, what was stated to me certainly would not justify a "complete loss" by previous owner ins. company so something just didn't add up. I did confirm this with my insurance, they advised me that damages I explained to them would never justify a total loss for a 1yr old $35K vehicle with only 10K miles on it. So in the end, I would NOT recommend this type of purchase to anyone.

Only 1 star because there was nothing lower available. Terrible! Couldn't get any info from them other than "refer to our website" 4 requests for info and never a personal response other than listed previously. Very disappointed seemed like a vehicle i was really interested in!

Took the vehicle to a blue star mechanic for a 150 point inspection and failed!!!! I have sent the report back to the salesman and if they can fix those problems, I will gladly buy the vehicle.... No answer yet, and it's been a week. Will keep you all updated on their response.........

This dealer was attempting to buy a car that had been totaled a few months before. I found this out when I checked out the vehicle's history. The very pushy salesperson had told me that the car had been "bumped from behind; the airbags didn't even deploy." Must have been quite a bump!

We drove 100 miles to test drive a vehicle they said they had only to find out it had already been sold. They also require an excessive amount of personal information before they will let you drive any of their vehicles which disappointingly turned out to be all branded titles. This information was not disclosed upon initial contact. Be prepared to be referred to as dude and bro. Very unprofessional staff. Don't waste your time.

nice return phone call but in the mean while I read reviews concerning prestman and their "branded" title and it appears that what that means is the car was in an accident and they had it repaired (who knows how well) and that is the reason for the less expensive pricing. Not worth it in my opinion.

I called them several times until I reached a salesman. Their adds are deceptive. They only sell salvage cars. They do not m ention this until you question them. VERY POOR Misleading and Dishonest.

Let me start off saying I give Prestman Auto 100% rating and I will tell you why so bare with me. I was looking to trade my current Lexus in for a newer model and Year. I happen to stumble across Prestman Auto by accident. The first thing that caught my attention was the prices of their vehicles. I thoguht "this has to be a scam no way vehicles are this cheap ". Then I saw the salvage vehicle part on their site as I'm sure most do. When most see that they go straight to google and research which I did . Google and social media had so many pros and cons hell I even called my insurance company to have them brake this down to me. Never the less I took a chance even after all the information I found and read up on and said "hell let's see what it is about". Mind you I live 6 hours away from their location. So I looked at Prestman Auto inventory to see if there was something I would even consider entertaining looking at. Well there was so I took the next step doesn't hurt to call and validate that the prices I was seeing was legit. Travis Cheesman answered the call, mind you this was on a Monday. We talked I asked him a bunch of questions and he was very knowledgeable,and professional about how and why they sale salvage vehicles. So I let Travis know I wanted to trade my vehicle in and get the vehicle I was eyeing in there inventory. I told Travis exactly what I wanted and needed as far as payments and what I could and couldn't afford. Travis made it his top priority even on his day off to give me information and validate my budget and needs. At this point I'm thinking this is to good to be true and the reality that I live 6 hours away how is this going to work ? I secured loan and reliable data from Travis just thru simple texting and a few phone calls here and there to validate some info. Not once did I feel pressured or ignored. He made me feel as if I was a local knowing I was out of state. Sealing the deal mind you this process started Monday. Wednesday we talked numbers and got a sight picture on what things would be and wouldn't be financially. I told Travis upfront what I could afford . He was very transparent on what he could and couldn't do! Unlike most salesmen or woman they will shoot you bs!!! He was very upfront and honest. Told Travis I wanted to finance thru them and just that simple he said ok let me work it. A day later as he promised I had numbers and a estimate of what my payments would look like. 100 % financing and their finance department was amazing. Sealing the deal Thursday morning Travis reaches out to me to confirm and finalize a few things as far as purchase of the vehicle I was looking at. He was very realistic about what I would get for my trade in and I was ok with that being a little upside down which you have to except when your dealing with a car that is 8 year old and almost pushing 100,000 miles. I had a few questions as far as payments and fees and he was very transparent with that so I had an idea what the fees would be before we locked things in. Which I understand when your running a business fees and such come with the nature of the beast. Thursday evening Travis and I spoke again to confirm everything. Told him I will drive up from Las Vegas Friday morning and we will move on a purchase. With that said I was confident in the car I was about to buy and the customer services Travis had provided me prior to me even meeting him I provide a 500 dollar deposit to hold the vehicle I was looking to buy and told him I will see him Friday. Closing the deal I departed Las Vegas early Friday morning to get into Salt Lake fairly early. Once I arrived to Prestman Auto I was greeted with welcoming hellos, and do you need anything and have you been helped? The Staff hands down made me feel like I was suppose to be there and welcomed. Even thou I was working with Travis they didn't once hesitate to ask if I need anything. Me and Travis talked numbers one more time he we pretty spot on when it came to what they was going to give me for my trade in. Then we went over to their finance section and finalized everything. He was so organized and made sure I was taken care of meaning making sure I had the right coverage, and warranty. There was no hidden agenda what you saw is what you got. Being Travis and I had been talking about numbers all week that process took no joke 15 mins. I was plugged into the terms and payments that I could afford. I have to give it to him that was the quickest and fastest I had ever been dealt with when it comes to numbers for a vehicle. The bank that I ended up getting my loan thru was a breath of fresh air very professional and easy going. No poking or judging just got down to the matter at hand and handled business. The sale I was able to see and drive the vehicle I was looking to buy. I was able to take as much time as I needed to look it over, driver it, and inspect it before I did anything else. Not to many dealers will allow you those freedoms it's pretty much "car as is take it or leave it". There was no pressure and they even asked me is there anything else I would like to drive or look at. That was a shook to me because most times you go to dealership and they try to lock you into one car and one car only. I knew I wanted this car so I passed on driving other cars. After I drove and checked the vehicle out everything checked out. I came back to the dealer told Travis I wanted this one he said "ok" and took care of the rest told me to have a seat make your self at home and I will be right back. I got to the dealer around 945 and was out the door with my car a hour later. Overall the best experience I had buying a car ever! The car had no issues I finalized everything and drove my new car half the price it would of cost me if I bought it from a Lexus dealer. I drove the car to its max back to Vegas and no issues thus far. Prestman Auto thank you so much for getting me into the car that I wanted at the price I could afford. I would recommend them to everyone. And will be buying future cars from them. Travis Cheesman is the man!

Overview: Overall a great buying experience, but there are issues on being completely transparent which is a major issue for me. I still got a great vehicle, I know they will service it well, and it was below the cost of other dealerships around. Read below to understand where Prestman isn't being completely transparent about their sales process. Dub (Sales Rep) 5/5 Dub was our sales rep. He was incredible, communicated well, and worked to get us a great deal on our vehicle. He was knowledgeable, and truly wanted us to do what was best for our family. Marshall (Manager) 2/5 Marshall was nice enough and personable. The issue I had though was when it came to signing final paperwork and getting the final pricing. It was clear that the prices for the Title, Registration, and Plate Transfer were inflated based on what the state is actually charging. Tthey also charge a 'dealer documentation fee' which is not legally required to be charged (but not illegal either), I believe it was around $249. It's ultimately a way to skim an extra few hundred dollars (around $400 in our case) in revenue onto the price of their vehicles. What I like about Prestman is they are professional and upfront about everything....except when it comes to these inflated fees. When I questioned Marshall on this, he was very unprofessional, and stated he didn't know if these fees were inflated, and didn't want to know...because then if he did know they were inflated he'd have to tell a customer that he knew they were. In this day and age transparency is important. Information is power, and needs to be used properly. Witholding information breeds distrust. They need to communicate that they are inflating these fees. It doesn't bother me at all that I was apparently the first one to question them on this, in fact I hope others will also question them on this. I would've been much more ok with it if they told me up front that that is what they were doing vs. me having to uncover it for myself. A few hundred dollars really isn't a big deal, but it is when it is being hidden from you. Please be transparent in all your dealings, don't silo yourself and be transparent in part of the process but not the entire process.

We drove several hundred miles for a test drive. Although we had an appointment, we were shoved aside while Alex helped other customers. She also failed to disclose to us that EVERY car they sell has been in an accident and has a branded title.. Our time was totally wasted there.

The dealer responded. The car had been sold before I got to the dealership. I spoke to another sales person. A very young girl spoke to me about the car, then left. I thought it was odd that they wouldn't try to sell some other vehicle.

Quick initial response, but needed to follow up multiple times to get my questions answered about vehicle specifics. They were understaffed on a Saturday when I made the trip to their showroom, which made for some longer than anticipated wait times. All in all though, they are friendly and easy to deal with. Do your research on the vehicle you are after. This dealership specializes in 'Branded Title' vehicles. If you are comfortable with that on the front end, and research/inspect the vehicle thoroughly, you can find some great deals here.

Worked with me entirely by phone and email (I live several hundred miles from the dealer, so never went in for test drive). Answered all my questions. Sales person was friendly and helpful.

Just know when you go into this dealership that it is a no dicker/sticker dealership. The price in the window is it! They will not come down, at all! The difference between me driving home with the vehicle I wanted and could afford was a mere 700 dollars. Wish I had known this before I wasted my time driving there from out of state. They're definitely proud of their salvage title vehicles. One thing I did like was that there was no pressure to buy. They didn't swarm you when you walked on their lot. In fact we had to find someone to help us. It was very friendly and clean. Also they let you test drive the cars by yourself without someone tagging along. All in all, it has it's good and bad. That's why I gave it 3 stars.

Truck ended up being a salvage title. Deal went from being a decent buy to overpriced with that information. Salvage dealers should disclose this upfront.

Sales was thorough and forthcoming with vehicle history. We were informed of the damage, and reassured that vehicle was going through inspections prior to being offered for sale. Dealership was professional and showed a large amount of integrity.
