I really wanted to buy this truck. It is everything I
was looking for. I was pre approved for financing
through Toyota. At the time I talked to the
salesman at Thompson Toyota price was
$36990. I asked them what their bottom line
price was? They said that was it. They couldn't
go any lower. Well not even a week later they
dropped the price by $2000. I don't get it??? If
they had just taken $500 off the price I would
have bought this truck. I would have been very
happy. They would have made $1500 more and
they would have had a customer for life. Instead
I bought a 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR5 with 621
miles on it for less than I would have paid for
this truck. So thank you Thompson Toyota
because of your incompetence I got a way better
deal. P.S. I won't be recommending you to
anyone ever!!!

Promptly responded. It was all that can be expected I guess. Priced a little high. Tacoma with over 120k miles made it difficult to make a deal unless it was all cash. No lender with finance over cars with more than 120k miles even with 15k down. Couldn’t make the deal

Same old car
salesman games
again. Super friendly
and attentive initially
and then apply
pressure tactics
claiming a wholesaler
was seriously
interested in buying
and I had to act fast.
I swear they use the
same playbook.
Another dealer did
the exact same thing
to me. I said I lived a
few hours away and
was unable to act
fast and he should
sell it to the
wholesaler. Then I get
a text 2 weeks later
that they dropped the
price by $1000 and
am I still interested?
I already bought from
somewhere else. Too
bad their FJ Cruise
was perfect and I
would have bought
their FJ if they
weren’t play games.

They contacted me and made sure that the transaction went smoothly! Spencer was very patient with me as I was asking so many question since it's my 1st car ever and he was also kind because he made sure that everything was set up properly and correctly (the car's Bluetooth) and that my mom and i dont drive off from the dealership in the middle of the pouring rain. Everyone in the dealership was nice and accommodating as well.

Prompt contact but they did not have the truck I was looking for.
Very helpful and responsive. Sales person is, in my opinion, one of the best in the business. Dealership offers much more help than traditional dealerships and offers a lot of
options during the purchase for extended warranties.
I took delivery of the truck last week, and so far, I am happy with the purchase.

Online contact person, tom, was outstanding! However after driving 2 hours to the dealership things went downhill from there. we verified the exact vehicle with certain specs were available and on site for pickup that day after the two-hour drive to pennsylvania, the particular truck was not the truck we were looking for. Completely wasted day salesman was friendly but not helpful in the least. We waited 15-20 minutes for the manager he never came out. 3 hours later he made a call by that time I was already driving home in my new vehicle that I found in Princeton. Not sure what happened here but not happy in the least.

The dealership, by there own admission had
no intention of retailing that car .
They just auctioned it out . So why
do they bother to put it on
CarGurus if they don't intend to
retail it ? ? And they never
contacted me ! I had to call them ! !

believe they purposely do this in
order to capture your name ,to try
to sell you something else that
there trying to unload ! They've
reached out to me several more
times since to try to sell me
something else that I had no
interest in !

Great dealership; very helpful; held the car for me to test drive unlike a dealer in Newark
Delaware who sold a car that they had said they were holding for me to test drive! We
bought our car here and will return for other car purchases from them in the future.

I've used this dealer for service in the past (toyota prius). Was always pleased
with that department. Sales department turned out to be good as well. It was
a good experience, and I'm very pleased with our purchase. Domenick was
knowledgable about the vehicle, and listened well. We met with him twice
before deciding to buy the vehicle. As with most Toyota dealerships, the
facility was impeccable. All employees were well kept and well mannered.
Can't really say anything bad at all. Plus, they had a GT2000 on the floor...
anyone who is a true car guru would want to see that in person.

These guys were very helpful. Matter of fact I was emailing Thompson about a car in their inventory, while I was trying to make a deal on one at a different dealer. I was on my way to Thompson if things didn't work out. When I requested the Carfax, they sent it immediately. When I emailed I might be in for a test drive, they told me the car was being detailed, but with a quick phone call, they'd have it ready. Very cool!

The staff was nice and so was the price. I drove from Raleigh NC to pick up this Highlander. Ask for Timothy Earls when you arrive at the dealership. He knows Toyota’s, he loves his job and he made the car buying experience very smooth.

I got the best Salesman ever. His name is Jim. He was one of the best
I ever had. He looked out for my best interest. He understood that the
car we looked at wasnt for us, and as soon as something else became
available, he called right away. Instead of me having to run and check
it out, he let me know what my car was worth and what the deal would
be so I didnt waste my time. Noone does that these days. They want
to drag you in and beat you until you buy something. I would give him
10 stars if they had that many.

after shopping at several car dealerships. and being very disappointed . we were contacted byThompson Toyota in regards to the madza CX-9. Our salesperson, Walter McGinty ,was very knowledgeable with the car ,with every question we asked. he listened to all our questions and concerns and was a really great friendly atmosphere. and was really willing to work with us ,not at all like the other dealership we had visited in the past 4 months . i would surely recommend them to any one looking for a new or used car .
