About Us
Porsche Riverside has a long-standing history of excellent customer service, but it all has stemmed from the year 1948, when Walter Kienle emigrated to the U.S. from Switzerland. After several years working as an auto mechanic, serving in the U.S. Army, and opening and managing an automotive garage, Walter eventually settled in Riverside in 1960, where he established Walter’s Automotive Service with an emphasis on European cars.

Talked to the dealership and offered to pay a hold fee due to traveling out of state. The salesman told me he would hold the car. I bought a plane ticket that day to fly out the next morning. Prior to boarding the plane, I called the dealership only to be told they sold the car that morning. Poor service

I had a terrible experience with this dealership and did not purchase from them. After being stalked by one of their salesmen every day by phone for two weeks(Ihave the
missed calls and voicemail logs to prove it), I finally spoke to him because I realized the car had been listed for quite some time without a price reduction. I told him that I
had seen many other Porsche dealers lowering their prices on Cayenne S and Cayenne GTS CPO models and that I would not waste my time driving out to Riverside unless
they were willing to work with me on price. I drove out on Saturday, and after test-driving the car and expressing my willingness to buy, was basically treated as though I
had offended them by asking for a better deal than what was listed. They misled me into driving to Riverside only to tell me they were already losing a ton of money on this
car. I ended up buying a Cayenne S today, same condition, year and miles as one of the cars I looked at yesterday, for almost 6k less.

The representative had no idea and wasn’t willing to help by simply looking at the door panel or under the hood to confirm this vehicle was California smog emissions compliant. They didn’t try to assist any further to help me obtain the car.

I challenged the price based on car gurus rating and the sales ambassador made multiple excuses stated the price was non negotiable, we exchanged numbers around 1pm by 6pm the price was lowered by $5k and I never received a call back

Although it was 11pm the night I sent an email about the vehicle, the
'online' assistants replied immediately! I made arrangements to test drive
the Cayman the following Sunday...2 days or so. I was given an
appointment; which was confirmed the day before.
The vehicle was exactly as advertised; except the "718 Cayman"
badging was deleted when ordered by the original owner which was not
an issue--I prefer it that way.
Rob Owen, the Brand Ambassador, greeted me at the appointed time.
The vehicle was clean and ready to drive. Rob was patient and gently
informative.
There was No 'hard sell' nor was I handed off to the Sales or Finance
Manager. (as I requested) I purchased the vehicle on the spot and was
on my way back to Los Angeles in less than 2 hours!
The Porsche was delivered to me in Los Angeles, by Rob Owen the next
day, at the time he said it would be.
It was the Perfect experience! I recommend Porsche Riverside highly.

Walter's Porsche is very responsive two or three sales people called me after my on line Inquiry and after the car I inquired about quickly sold to someone else, Walter's sales team followed up not once but several times to see if they could meet my needs. Appears to be customer service oriented dealer - awesome! I will consider them for my next purchase!!

Salesman embodied the worst definition of " car salesman". Said could have given a better price but they just build a $2 million dollar showroom and offered only a "courtesy discount" of a few hundred dollars instead of pricing the car as it shoul have been. Salesman built up expectations disappointed me multiple times.
I have owned 9 Porsches and am very familiar with Porsche pricing structure. These guys were telling me stories.
I would never buy a car from them as they clearly can't be trusted. Run the other way, fast, I did!

I would recommend anyone looking for Porsche or similar vehicle to first visit
Walter's Porsche of Riverside. The salesmen are responsible and always
looking to "help you out".However, the prices are somewhat inflated.

Not only was the team at Walter's
extremely kind and accommodating, but
they ensured my purchase was exactly
what I wanted. I arrived at 7:30 on a
Friday night after a lengthy drive in rush
hour traffic through LA and there was no
pressure and my comfort was put as top
priority. They assisted me and had me on
the road in my Porsche by 9:15! Best
experience I've ever had buying a car...I
even sent my family friend to purchase
his Cabriolet there the following week.

The experience at Walter's Porsche was
excellent! They were responsive, more
than fair, and importantly for me,
respectful of my time. I test drove two
vehicles, the Panamera S and the GTS. I
acquired the GTS after Tony Nguyen,
Frank Avena, and Jay B., put together a
sound deal, which included taking my
trade (and giving me a good price for
that), reducing the asking price on the
GTS, and working with me on the
financing. Everyone was courteous,
professional, and considerate. Just the
experience I would expect from Porsche.
The experience was more than worth the
two drives from the westside of Los
Angeles to Riverside. I likely will go back
to Walter's for my vehicle's service needs
because I like working with people who
understand service when it's done right!
