Salesman responded in a timely manner.
I received AN (1) email from someone at the dealer. The email had a "link" in it that indicated there was more
information about the vehicle. When I replied to the email, I notified the person that the link did not work. He
asked which email since he sent me several. 1) I only received one email from the dealership (the person),
which I told him that in my final response. I checked my Junk box also. 2) I replied to the email that I was
referencing. I was not impressed because if he took the time to review the short series of emails, he would
have known which link I was referring to. He was not helpful at all. The dealer contacted me, but I was not
impressed by the customer service. Thanks.

Long drive, scheduled salesman was out. Would not honor the advertised price since there
was flooding out in Texas, auctions would give more. Therefore the new price was just under
$1700 higher.

Made an appointment, when I showed up the salesman, Sam Jafar, was not there, we had to wait on him. When he did show up, he sat us down and made us do a questionnaire. He left to help another customer in the middle of our appointment. When he returned he informed us that the car I inquired about had sold. He proceeds to show us a few other cars on the lot. After walking inside to sit down and discuss details, he leaves for 40 minutes. Once he finally came back, he told us we had to sign a piece of paper, saying we will buy the car for that price, without even discussing the details of the car. As we got up to leave he backtracks and says that we actually didn’t need to sign, by then we already felt weird about the situation.We requested the keys for our current car, he goes into a room and talks with another salesman, we had to knock on the door to get my keys back, another salesman comes out and gives us our keys and try’s to get us to stay. We ended up leaving, with a day wasted.

I have excellent credit and asked them to run it and get me some financial numbers as I was looking to buy within then next few days. Filled out all online forms and waited 2 days with no answer. Finally I contacted them and was told they didn't like my offer(1500 below their price) and they didn't even run the credit. Thanked me for shopping with them and that was it. No answer. No counter offer. No negotiation. I guess I wouldn't have even got the email if I hadn't pursued it. All through email. This was my first and only offer and I was very surprised at how unprofessional this was handled.

Their listed price is not the actual price. They have add ons that are later added to the price. These are non removable add ons, not options. It’s pretty sketchy to list a price and then add on extras that you can’t have removed. That should be reflected in the ACTUAL price to begin with.
I have not seen this tactic in any other dealership we dealt with.
I have bought many cars online over the years and working with Midlands Honda was the worst experience I’ve ever had. If you are a busy professional wanting to buy a car online and have this be frictionless and seamless, stay away from this dealership. They failed at ever step. In the final step, the Purchase Agreement was sent to my lien holder without the lien holder being listed, instead it showed “cash deal”. Seriously? And then to add insult to injury, by the time they got around to submitting it back to my bank with them listed as the lien holder, my pre-approval had expired. As a result, I had to go back through the entire process with my bank and doing so caused my interest rate to be even higher. So, $88 more per month, I get, “I’m sorry BUT we aren’t familiar with your bank”.
This dealership has fundamentally flawed if they think this is an acceptable rationale for dropping the ball.

I called the dealership about an infinite q50 that I'd seem advertise..The salesman Tim invited me on the lot to test drive the vehicle...Tim was very friendly. He did not pressure me into buying the car, he just wanted me to try out the car for myself and make a decision... I did finance the car thru the Honda dealership...The process was quick and the gentleman was very friendly also. Overall my experience with Honda of the Midland was awesome.No hassles and quick professional service..

The salesman provided a creepy video of himself asking me to call him. After some additional emails with the manager I was finally told that the dealership decided to send the car off to the auction. We never did get any other details about the actual listing that we were interested in. Just a creepy video of a salesman..

I kept coma ting them but all I did was get transferred to someone were the phone would continuously ring to the voicemail. I would leave a voicemail and email them still no response.

I called early Monday morning and was told the auto I was look looking for was there so I drive one hour and a half to find out they had just sold it while on the phone with them however I did leave with a auto and an awesome deal. Had two amazing gentleman who helped me find the perfect car ( Claude Finance Manager and Robin sales). At the end very happy really nice car will purchase again in the future.
This website advertise a decent vehicle. Arrived and the adverted car has serious cosmetic damage.Salesman offered another vehicle, same make and model and for the same price. Okay great do the paper work. Then a Manager guy comes in with a ridiculous offer, higher price and all of a sudden will not honor the original price and stated “This is a used car lot you’re not going to get a car with no blemishes.” I told the gentleman that was fine I expect blemishes but serious damage is unacceptable especially when it will be needs a body shop repairs. I told him I won’t be buying the vehicle for a higher price and I won’t be buying the damage vehicle as that’s not what I want. What I want it is what was advertised and they don’t have that. I explained to the manager that’s called bait and switch. They are luring people in here with one item, at one price and one condition and then turn around and flip the script. This only set off the manager even more. VERY DISHONEST dealership.

The dealer was very quick to respond to our inquiry. We did not like the color of the vehicle when we saw it on the lot. We test drove a new hrv and a crv and bought the crv. The staff at Midlands we’re all very friendly and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle.

Also the car had scratches all the way around the car, the right front wheel was damaged and the tires was ball so I did not buy the car because on top of the damage the tried to charge me more money. No one contacted me until 5 days later but I did get a computer generated email from someone the following day . I visited the dealership without them knowing. The guy who helped me was helpful. However, I left without purchasing a car..from them, but I did purchase a car in cash from another location paying more money Bc of how the associate made me feel. He explained thoroughly and the hidden fees were waaaay less than 1000.

The dealership was a little bit slow in getting back to me, but overall it was a good experience. Once contact was made, Alex (internet sales manager) was responsive. I worked with Damian on the purchase of a used vehicle. The purchase experience was great! I had a budget to work with and they were responsive to that. They were efficient and professional. I was in and out of there in a couple of hours at the most.

Overall I don’t think he went the extra mile to sell me this car. I also told the salesman to run my credit only through one finance company I was already with. He took it upon his self to run it through a company of his choosing,after I made it very clear. Then to put the icing on the cake,he turns around and sells it after he told me he was in contact with the finance company and needed to know what my down payment would be.

I contacted the dealership to make sure that the truck was still available and it was. I scheduled a visit the next day to come and testt drive the truck, they raised the price $2,900 before I arrived....which was a 24 hour rine period. The car salesman stated that it went up because the market for the truck went up, I told him that the market for my trade in more than doubled....he didnt agree. Stay away from this dealership.

Wish the sales man new more about the car. He didn’t really know about any of the features it offered. I learned more about the car looking through the manual. He wouldn’t have gotten the sale if I wouldn’t have know exactly what I wanted when i walked in
Wouldn't work with me on what I wanted. I was clear what my max price was, what I was looking for, Max amount of miles, etc and asked if they had a vehicle with those requirements in stock. Never got a yes or no answer. Kept trying to sell me higher than what I can pay for.

Listing accuracy: This dealership had listed a price of $32,516 for this vehicle on cargurus.com. But it was clear from the sales manager that the real price would be considerably more than MSRP, which is $35,595.
On-site experience: Based on inflated pricing, I decided not to deal with this dealership.
Customer service: Staff was friendly in their communications.
Overall impression: Would not recommend this dealer because of their ready use here of a come-on in pricing.

Made an appointment and when I arrived truck was not ready. After an hour of looking for the keys I ended up leaving without ever taking a test drive after driving 2 hours to see the vehicle. Not to mention the price advertised was actually about a grand lower than they were willing to sell for and they said this is how they get people to come look at the vehicles.
Earned my business through perseverance. Wayne Thompson, my sales guy, was patient and didn't give up on me. It took me over a month the to find the car I wanted but Midlands didn't give up! They made the buying process much easier by not playing a numbers game. I'd definitely call Wayne if I ever need to buy another car and definitely recommend to anyone in the business for a new car.

Midlands contacted me promptly and followed up at two higher
management levels. But nobody asked me what I was looking for
and my specifics! I received an elaborate proposal of plans and
costs which did not relate in any way to my circumstances. If there is
no upfront interest in the customer's situation then there is not likely to
be any interest along the purchase journey. I did not respond to first
reply or two management follow up inquiries. I continue to look for
similar products as well as for somebody who starts their day thinking
of the customer's setting as well as "the dotted line." I am sure within
their value system and parameters that Midlands Honda does a good
job. If I ever fall within those parameters I would be free to go visit
them and buy something. But for now I will keep looking for the
product and listening for that rare opening: "Auto sales is something
we know much about, but how can we help YOU?"

Midlands Honda responded to my message on the same day I sent it. They were very kind and made sure I had everything I needed. Buying the car was a lot easier than I remember that process being. Overall it was an absolutely wonderful experience.
Was ready to buy the car and would have the day we
test drive it but when the sales manager gives you a
price and you counter, the price increased. I think his
name was Randy. The salesman, Chris, was super nice.
He had another manager call, also named Chris, who
called once and we spoke but he never called me back
with a price. The best price quoted was $16000 out the
door for a car priced at $15,000. Bought a 2016 Ford
Convertible premium with ecoboost, 36000 miles for
18000 (out the door price) in Charlotte. It
definitely pays to shop around. I found it on cargurus!!

Great amenities....if that is what you are looking for. Employees are kind but the service is poor. I drove over an hour to look at a car (had an appointment scheduled) and it took almost an hour for me to get to test drive it or talk to anyone about it. I was promised a gift card for test driving, which I did not receive. When I provided feedback to receptionist I was ignored. The car was great but I am hesitant to make a large purchase from a business that does not respect my time and money. Definitely block out the whole day if you want to go look at a vehicle there because nothing moves smoothly. It is unlikely that I will return. Plus side, if you have kids, you can keep them busy while you wait on people to check on this-that-and the other....they have a put put golf course....if service moved faster they wouldn't need it though. Too extravagant for the quality of service.

Sales people were nice until after the car was sold. No urgency or concern to resolve issues that were promised to be fixed at a later date. We had to bring the car back multiple times for the same issue. Customer service was terrible once the car had been sold. Sold us a certified used car that didn't look so certified. Front tires were bald and they refused to replace them. Just didn't have an overall good car buying experience. Angela was very helpful as much as she could be, but the rest of the staff just didn't make us feel like valued customers.

I do NOT recommend them at all!!! I had bought my two previous
Hondas, 84 Prelude & 99 Accord from them & I knew I was buying a
2014 Accord Ex-L V6. Larry would not give me his best price or
answer how much I needed for down payment to get the monthly
payments I needed. Plus when I asked about the 0.9% interest rate I
had seen from Honda, he said it wasn't available. However Honda
Cars of Columbia gave it to me, which again was from Honda not a
dealership offer. We were treated so poorly here, we have excellent
credit & I had bought two previous vehicles from them, so you would
think we would have received better service. Don't go here, go to
Honda Cars of Columbia.

My name is David and I am from Anderson South Carolina. A few
days ago I contacted Midlands Honda about a 2007 Honda Hybrid
for sale on their website. From the very beginning it was a
frustrating process. The sales person I dealt with never returned
calls when promised and honestly seemed uninterested in selling
a car to me at all. I felt like a distraction to his everyday work,
which I thought was selling cars. I would like to note that my
credit is excellent, I had no trade in to be dealt with and I was not
haggling about the price, I thought it was fair. All I wanted to do
was get a firm yes on financing and an APR I was satisfied with,
drive the two and half hours from Anderson to Midlands Honda,
test drive the car and sign papers. I was a slam dunk, an easy
sell.
It was arduous just getting the information and return calls as I
stated but finally after talking to a manager I was assured today
7/25/13 that the car was on the lot and ready to go. I drove the
two and a half hours to Midlands Honda and as soon as I got there
I was informed that the car was in the back, back lot. We went out
and grass was growing up around the car and it wouldn’t even
start. Of course the paper work was not ready and obviously didn’t
need to be. I drove two and a half hours, took the day off of work
to pick up a car that both a sales manager and sales person told
me was ready to go and it wasn’t even drivable.
In spite of my overwhelming frustration and anger I composed my
self and agreed to give Midlands Honda an opportunity to redeem
themselves and look at a few other cars. My new salesman, Carl,
was the only bright spot in my whole experience. He was very
understanding, nice, and helpful… a real cool guy.
At any rate, Carl helped me find another car to make an offer on. I
made an offer on a Civic $2000 below asking price. After all of my
trouble Midlands Honda was not even willing to move $1 towards
my offer. They tried to tell me they were breaking even at the
asking price and not making any money. First of all, with the
invetory that Midlands Honda does I found it a little hard to believe
they would break even, not making any money. Secondly, if they
took a hit they could surely make it up down the line. However,
they were not willing to help me. $2000 it seems is to steep a
price to maintain integrity and what seemed previously to me to be
an impecable reputation. Nevermind that I am in the hole for gas
money for a 250 mile round trip and a full day of work, a seven
and a half hour day including time wasted at the dealership.
Nevermind that I was either lied to or a victim of extreme
incompetence. They did me wrong and were not willing to make it
right. The odd thing was that the sales manager seemed a bit
irritated that I wouldn’t buy from them, almost shocked, like I was
the jerk. Wow.
Midlands Honda displayed some of the worst customer service
(except for Carl) that I have ever experienced in my life. It is still
surreal to me. Can’t belive they actually let me drive two and a
half hours to buy an undrivable car while allowing me to believe
the whole time it was ready to go. The finance manager didn’t
seem all to concerned with my plight and after a half hearted
unauthentic apology all he did was try to sell me a car at his price.
The irony? On the way home, I-77 displays a billboard which reads
“Midlands Honda cares about you.” Nothing could be further from
the truth. They didn’t care about me. I would never do business
with them nor could I ever recommend them to any of my friends.
What a nightmare and a waste of my time and gas money. So
frustrated. Can’t believe Midlands Honda can conduct business in
