Dealer did not respond in a timely fashion. Sold the vehicle after giving me an appointment to test drive it. No courtesy call was given so as to give me a chance to buy it.

They were absolutely terrible. They knew that I had an appointment scheduled to come see the vehicle, and I get there and it's sitting on a flat tire. And was very very nonchalant about it. The excuse was an inexcusable, "it's just been sitting there for so long". Then wanted me to wait for them to pump it up. Negative and good bye!!! I'm totally turned off now, because it's apparent that you neglect your vehicles.
Horrible experience. Gave me a bait and switch . Carxwas available at 7pm on a Thursday night. Made appointment for Friday at noon. Drove 1 hour to dealership and they tell me the car was sold at 9pm Thursday night. What a crock of horseshit. Then they give me a $5000.00 lower amount for my trade in. Stay away from these scammers

Called about a particular vehicle that was available. Was asked if I was financing and I said no. So they said right away: we actually received a wore for this vehicle this morning so it is has been sold. Then tried to sell me another vehicle. Classic bait and switch. Terrible experiance

I finally went to test drive the car after he kept calling me to when I got there there another dealer sold the car then he forced me to test drive another car mind u I never test drove it the dealer got behind the wheel then jacked the price of the car 3000 more dollars like I was stupid……Ijust don’t like the way I was treated….Then he kept taking so loud so everyone could hear what he was saying to me it wasn’t a business atmosphere I’ll never go there again.And I hope they never sell another car.If I was a man they would have never treated me like that

The salesman, Chris, was professional from the beginning to the end. My wife, brother, and I drove to Georgia from South Carolina on a Sunday. We drove the car and decided to purchase. There were certain things not disclosed regarding the condition of the car: it smelled of smoke, the back passenger seat on the driver’s side was ripped, and the headlights were flickering. The sales manager, whose name escapes me, took care of the seat in the price of the car, and told me to call if there were other issues, and he would work on something. He shook my hand, and I took him at his word. Since it was Sunday evening, all shops were closed. I took the car to a local repair shop in SC and was told that the car needed new rotors and ball joints that cost over $3,000. I reached out to the manager, and he asked me to send the quote, so he can review the estimate with his mechanic. This was two weeks ago and no response. What a disheartening experience.

This car had already sold, but they reached out with another option. Was not happy with the
deception I experienced..I asked specific questions about the car, and was given misinformation.
I was also made responsible for dealer error with this information. I also paid a "service fee"
which I was told was to clean the car and give tune up before delivery. The car may have been
cleaned, it was hard to tell; but, inside the car was not. They made no effort to remove the smoke
smell, nor did they attempt to make minor adjustments to things missing/broken
Has cars listed, but when you look into them
they'll tell you that they're sold, but they want to
sell you something else. The car that I originally
contacted them about, a 2018 Kia Forte, is the
make/model I'm really interested in. I reached
out and was told that this one and the other one
they had on the site are both sold. But they
continue to have them both posted on CarGurus,
over 10 days later, but it's really just a bait and
switch, because the prices are lower than
anyone else, and so people inquire. Then the
sales guy, Ben, tells me that the Kia Forte is the
car most likely to be stolen, so I should look at
their other cars, of which none are close to what
I'm looking for. What a load of crap.

Although the select vehicles are very nice, I did not like the service overall. Not one dealer talked to me personally. I spoke with the administrator directly, even when I was told I was denied approval. None of my emails had a response except for one that acknowledged they have my info, but had no follow-up call.

The car was available. I was told this car was sold when I showed up to see it and was shown a vehicle outside my price range. A week later another salesman told me the car was available, then sold (again) when I asked about it. The car is still listed 3 weeks later. I felt I couldn't trust them and made a purchase elsewhere.

My car arrived 1300 miles over the oil change and 2 quarts low on oil. The delivery driver could not speak English, and tried to grt another $700 c.o.d. for the reason delivery that i had already paid for. Suspension parts had wear and would not pass a state inspection. The body and paint condition was far from what they described. ****Stay far away from this dealership!!! It took over a month just to get them to send parts to make the repairs. I had to cover the labor. A very disappointing experience overall. Omar needs a few lessons in customer service. He is quite the pretentious individual. I plan on stopping by and visiting him in the near future to personally thank him for his gratitude and services that he provided. Buying a new vehicle should be a fun and exciting experience. Automax Atlanta ruins that! Steer clear of these fools!

Awful! Don't not do business with these people. Sold me a car by promising the car fax had all relevant info but it did not. Slipped info from another report not disclosed to me in the 20 page contract as if it had been disclosed (contract they had me sign was blank too!!). Salesperson Jennifer knows I wouldn't have bought the vehicle with frame damage but only provided me with the report that didn't show those issues. I even asked her why car hadn't sold yet and she made something up rather than tell the truth. I knew it passed VA inspection and they won't pass a car with frame damage, but found out these same people do inspections, so what would you think? The owners, Mehdi and Bashir Aslam will not speak with customers so you have no one in power you can speak with regarding your experience. What kind of dealer has an owner and GM that won't speak with customers? Completely took advantage of fact that I bought online. Sleezy, bad people!!

Was looking into the 2023 Lexus NX. They kept
trying to convince me that because it was "still
new" it still had a manufacturer warranty which
was true but after paying for a 3rd party
inspection I learned that the car seems to have
been in an accident. Some parts were bent and
scraped, while other parts had been replaced,
some not even replaced correctly. Doesn't
sounds so "new" huh?! Don't waste your time on
this one.

Very customer oriented knows a lot about the merchandise goes out that way to show you if there’s any damage explosions and find a deal that fits you with first class service
Service was good even though the tire pressure light was and they said they put the air in I just need to ride for a few miles and it will go out. It’s the sensor and I believe they knew that already being that the vehicles are inspected. Outside of that lie I would recommend this dealer ship. Mr. E and the finance manager were cool. I love my car
Found the guy who owned this car before on Instagram. He told me it had a bad motor and thats why he traded it in. When i asked the dealer they said the car was in perfect condition with no issues. I know for a fact the motor has bad compression in one of the cylinders. Stay away from this dealer. They will lie to you..

Everything was great until I received the Audi A7 which they shipped to my house. The “accident” he said was minor and fixed it was neither minor or fixed. The car had scratches in several places. The trim and wheels were painted (poorly) black but I was never told that. VERY POOR salesmanship absolutely no customer service post sale. Also…READ THE FINE PRINT ON THE 7-DAY RETURN!!!! You have to pay 10% restocking fee and have to buy another one of their cars!!! Very unpleasant purchase!!

This was the worst experience I ever had buying a car. First it was supposed to be free delivery I had to meet them halfway to pick up the car and they were 3 hours late. I got the car and it had a headlight out and the taillight was full of water and the light was blown. I finally got home after getting pulled over by the police for a blown taillight and found out the other taillight also leaks water in and there is oil or grease running down the front wheel. After calling them and explaining this all to them they told me i bought a used car I can expect stuff to be wrong with it. They never even looked this thing over . I would be very careful buying a vehicle here. They will say anything but after they have your money they do not intend to stand behind anything they sell no matter what they tell you.
Don’t think this dealer gave much attention to the car since it’s on lower scale of their inventory. Car had a number of issues that started popping up day after buying it. Battery died, car dies at idol etc.. dealership detailed car before leaving the lot and the backseat was stuck in the down position but the dealer didn’t say anything about it. Had to go buy tools the next day to fix it. Sketchy dealership who tries to “mandate” certain things. Be careful!
I asked the dealer did thus vehicle have the 5.7 witch I was looking for and he told me Yes Yes it has the 5.7 You see I was 6 hrs away , He kept telling me I can have it shipped to you no problem and all the good stuff etc , I told them no ,I set up a date to come check it out .To days before I ran some data on coming problems of the vehicle and it gave me recalls , so I ask them have they taken care of the recalls they Saud all but 1 and that was the main 1 the fuel system recall , But they can show me how to do it if I purchased the vehicle ,it wasn't hard .So to me that was a red flag then I looked close at the pictures of the vehicle , and it had the v6 not 5.7 So that just told me shop some where else ,cause if I would had my bank transfer them that money and they shipped that vehicle I would of been stuck with something I didn't want !
Had an appointment set for Monday but was unable to make it. I reached the next day to see if the car was still available and schedule a time to come in. The sales rep said it was and that coming that evening would be great. When I arrived I found the sales rep wasn’t even working and the car sold Sunday. So even if I had made the Monday appointment, the car was not available and no one ever reached out to let me know.
Not good. Priced online changed when I got there for required Low Jack that wasn’t shared, $1000 upcharge. Bought car cash, had issues from day one. Shared they would replace wheel sensor,l for cost, after repeated follow up to schedule appointment, I just gave up. Oh, and it’s been 2 months and still haven’t gotten my Lowjack info to register. Shady dealer.

The dealership responded to my questions and let me know the car I was interested in had a deposit to hold it but did let me know other cars that were available.
They knew which autos I was interested in and scheduled me with a VIP Manager at their location - even though none of the cars that I wanted to see were there. So then I had to go to other locations with no appointment. I then felt like I was inconveniencing them. Several times after already telling them I had made a purchase at another dealer two different people reached out to see if I had additional questions and if I was still interested in the cars. Very frustrating!

Purchased this vehicle. Two weeks to deliver. The Sequoia arrived today. Hood latch is broken- not mentioned during multiple conversations- contacted AutoMax, basically told there is nothing they will do, it is mine to fix. Vehicle is not safe to drive until the hood latch is replaced. Also, arrived with low tire pressure light on and on empty! Very disappointing to purchase a car and not be able to safely drive it until I pay to have it repaired.
Tried communicating with a sales rep on this car, but cannot get a response. Offered my trade and got an offer which I accepted and we have been unable to move forward. If something changed they still can’t communicate that to me instead of just waste my time with irrelevant responses. I’m trying to give you my business and the fact that it’s difficult to do with this dealer in this industry is mind-blowing. Most dealers have been calling nonstop.

I asked them to email instead of calling as I was trying to sleep at home while working nights at the hospital. They did not respect my request and received 9 calls from them in the span of 2 hours. One day after, I saw that the price of the car had dropped by $2000 on CarGurus. My original email had asked whether they negotiate price or not. I got an email from them one day after the price drop (so two days after my original email) that they don’t negotiate prices. Not negotiating is fine, but it felt as though they were trying to be sly. Their text messages and emails were also somewhat condescending based on the word choices. Would not waste my time.
I would also add in here that the original posting didn’t mention anything about the car accident but the CARFAX had some info regarding the minor accident.
We found the needle in the haystack, the perfect car for us. The only catch was its oit of state location in Georgia. Ben Johnson at Automax Atlanta sent us detailed videos of the car with driving to impressions on top! Ben remained in close contact throughout the entire process and made us feel comfortable with our decision. Even after the driver left one of two key fobs, Ben mailed us the other fob. Delivery was hiccup free and the transporter was careful and polite. I would buy another car from here without hesitation. Thanks automax and Ben!

I am out of state and I needed to contact the dealer over two weeks to finally get a response. HGreg has an out-of-state department and it
must be undermanned. Now, when I finally contacted someone about the car the salesperson wanted to send a Purchase Order before
providing additional pictures. The salesperson went on to say this dealership has a $2700 dealership fee. I am done, and now moving on to
another car. The MIA area started this fee during the pandemic and they have not stopped up-charging customers.

Multiple prices found online for the same car at this dealership. Very unwilling to negotiate and very high dealer fees
I drove 3 hours to get there and when I got there I looked over the car it's been damaged on the mirror and the lower rocker panel. We went out for a test drive and the salesman took me around this route which you couldn't even drive the car it was through back streets and all that and looked at the gas tank and only had like a gallon of gas in it was not prepared to take a test drive with a gallon of gas. Also I had a car that I was going to trade in my car and $17,000 for the 2009 Z4 35i. We made a deal he was going to do the body work couple days later he called me back and said he doesn't want my car . The sales manager does not keep his word if he didn't want my car he should have told me that before I left. Also, if I wasn't even making a deal with my car , the salesman who was handling the cell had some inaccurate figures the taxes that I was going to be paying the additional equipment that he was adding to the car price which should have never been added. Shady deal
***WARNING*** No matter what I did to try and buy this car from Automax Atlanta, they would not sell it to me.
I literally tried over and over for 6 months to buy it, and despite offering the asking price, they still would not sell
me the car. They would promise to call me back, but never did. I had to call them over and over only to be
insulted by them. This was systemic, as not even the manager would call me back. My offers fell on deaf ears,
and after 11 months, their stupid car is still on the lot. Hope you keep it forever, morons.

The Dealer representative contacted me and kept in contact. I made my mind up to purchase their vehicle. I went as far as putting a $500
deposit down to hold the vehicle on Friday, Feb.10th. I had planned to visit the dealer that Saturday, Feb. 11th to test drive and purchase the
vehicle. They told me I would have to wait until Monday, Feb 13th afternoon to test drive the vehicle. Well, on Sunday, Feb. 12th; they (Dealer)
increased the vehicle's cost by $999. Later I am informed that my deposit only holds the sale of the vehicle and not the price. No one should
buy from this Dealer (Automax Atlanta). I made arrangements to buy other vehicle exactly like the one offered for less money and lower
mileage.
I contacted the sales person and asked if there was room to move in the price of the vehicle. I didn’t want to drive 4 hours without a chance of getting a lower price. The salesman told me that they had put too much money into the vehicle to be able to get to my desired price. I appreciate the honesty
Dealership was clean. Can was clean inside and out. Engine had to be cleaned by me once it was home. But no leaks we found. Drove four hours to keep them from shipping the car and they didn’t want to fill it up. Don’t understand that saved them shipping but they did the right thing and filled it up. Everything went well and they were very nice. Overall good experience

I was called and texted in regards to this vehicle. I responded immediately. I was called in reference to this specific car and was told that it had been sold hours prior. If that’s the case than why are you texting me and calling about purchasing said vehicle. To make matters worse, they tried to sale me on another vehicle that I made very obvious that I wasn’t interested in. Of course my desires and wants were questioned and when I didn’t budge, I was rushed off the phone in a very rude manner. I’ll never purchase a car here.

This dealership could not make up their mind if this vehicle was available or not; nor could they make up their mind as to the price that they kept changing on this car. After I kept seeing this car listed, I called about 10 times and each time I got a different answer if it was sold or not! I was told it was definitely sold and the customer took possession but they never pulled the listing down and now it’s still showing but with a higher price!!! Very shady dealership would not recommend
Contacted sales person about one car he told me it was still there and available. Once I got there and car turned out to have been sold weeks ago. Then the sales guy tried to show me the other Hellcats with paint and body work and in rough condition. FaceTime to verify car is available. Don’t be a victim of the old Bait and Switch!

I have driving an old car to a dealer 4 hours away and trade in a car, I have rented a car 1 way to Indiana and drove a new car back 6
hours, I have flew to North Carolina and drove a car back 13 hours. I am glad Benjamin Johnson decided to be cute. If he was serious for
my business, and gave a fair price for my trade in, I would have drove the 8 hours for the trade.

I then asked him if he had any more maxima and he waited a few days as bad came back at me with No I don't. I stopped there.

The sales guy, we'll call him "Bryan," contacted me over text, answered my questions, and told me
he'd send a proposal "shortly." By the next afternoon, I still hadn't heard from him. I called the
dealership and left a message for him. He didn't call me back, but his manager--not him--ended up
emailing me a proposal. The proposal wasn't correct based on my previous conversation with Bryan.
Long story short, text tag with Bryan, a SECOND incorrect proposal, and then I never heard from any of
them again. Either they weren't too worried about making money from someone who found them
online, or they just didn't want to deal with a woman. Either way, they can keep the beautiful car.

Decide not to buy and received nothing but curse words. Photos did not match the car. Was told it was my fault. Literally told to go F$&k myself and that I owed him gas money. Never been treated like that by a car dealership. Don’t offer to drive a car to someone’s home if not prepared to hear a no I’m not interested after I see it. Wish I could leave a negative star account.
I’d recommend anyone who is honest and looking for a fair deal with professionals this is probably the worst dealership to go to.
If you are purchasing a vehicle from a distance at least. From the start the team there flopped several times with critical information I needs, lacked detailed customer service and communication. Second is the lack of integrity and transparency. They don’t work to serve you but themselves. I had to consistently pull information out of them like pulling teeth. The car I purchased had broken things in the interior they failed to show me, an engine light which I asked the sales team to have their maintenance team clear up. Well they never did that and they sold me a vehicle with bad timing and camshaft sensors. Also an axle leak that was not fixed and bushing under the car that were busted.
I emailed the sales team, online chat support and even direct text message about these issues and they ignored me. Not a single reply back on these issues.
Amazing service they helped my get my first car with good coverage one my tires and paint. I’ve been looking for a car for a while and they had the exact one I wanted for a nice price less than other dealers and it was in excellent condition. Buy with this AutoMax Atlanta you won’t regret it I promise

Terrible experience, would not want to deal with them again. The person I was scheduled to meet didn’t meet me, instead they set me up with a woman who seems to be very new at selling cars of this level. She kept trying to teach me about the car even after I explained to her that I know the model and that’s why I was there. Car was misrepresented in advert and needed at least 3k of body work and still car was way overpriced and they wouldn’t even discuss the price so I left. Couple days later the original contact sales person texted me to check my interest and I replied asking what is their best price. No response at all. For this level of automobile this was the most unprofessional sales team I’ve encountered. The one bright side was the service guy who was very welcoming and allowed me to put the car on his lift for inspection. This was when I found more misrepresentation ie repairs that were said to have been done and were not

Horrible experience. Was very interested in this truck. Called and spoke with Chris about my trade at 4:00pm on FRIDAY NIGHT. He asked for photos and I sent them at 6:00am Saturday morning. He then went radio silent all day Saturday until I contacted him again in the afternoon and he told me it sold Saturday at noon. This is just where dealers are now. No Courtesy hold while in discussion, just sell it out from under you.

Miss leading about conditions of car and not ready to be sold. Need parts that was no available. Has to be ordered. Was told not to call back. They would call me. Still hadn’t heard anything!
After asking for photos three days in a row, I gave up on seeing the car. The salesman asked about sending a buyers order over, etc., without ever showing me any pictures of the car. After a week, he finally emailed me saying they didn’t have the car on the lot yet, so that’s why I haven’t gotten pictures…..still waiting!
When i finally got a reply, they guy barely knew anything about what he had in his inventory. I was looking for a 6 speed manual transmission, they had it as a manual transmission but it was an automatic. He recommends another automatic car AFTER i told him i wanted a manual. Not good listeners and are clueless as to what they even have on the lot.... don't waste your time.

I bought the car, and I love it!! But once I left I realized there was no gas cap, I reported it to them & they were going to reimburse me but didn’t. I bought a service plan & they said the necessary paperwork for the plan was in my packet & it wasn’t. I spent $728 on the plan & got nothing. They promised a 2 year service plan, well I never got that either.

Absolutely the most horrible car experience
ever!!!! This dealership should NOT be allowed to
sell cars. They are complete rip off artist. Sold us
a car with some major items that needed repair.
We we called back about getting these things
taken care of we got completely brushed off and
basically told too bad thatâs your problem now.
When asked to speak with a manager always got
forwarded to a voicemail and none of the
managers EVER called back. When taking with
the salesman Greg he completely lied and said
that he was working it and that he was doing all
that he could do at his level. This whole operation
is crooked. Never got issues resolved and we got
stuck with it and having to pay through the nose.
Please read reviews before dealing with this
dealership. Worst ever!
Absolutely horrible. Took two days to even get anyone to respond. When we finally did hear from Dennis he was good, until check engine light came on and the Audi had to go to the Audi dealer. I was told small problems they will fix and sell to us, but if it is a big problem they will not sell the car! I texted a few days later for an update and was told it was still at Audi. I texted an additional 3 times and made many calls. Never heard a thing! 2 weeks later new photos where added, so I reached out yet again! Got a text back that said I will check tomorrow when I am in the office. Waited 3 hours after opening with no update. Called today genera number only to be told a deposit has been taken.
The salesman that I worked with and the finance guy were great they worked really hard to get the deal put together . I did get the car from them and I’m very happy with how it looks and how it runs . After 10 days of them not being able to find a way to ship the car to me I ended up having to get a plane ticket to fly down and drive it 18 hours home. When I got there to pick it up the I got the two car remotes a quarter tank of gas and that was it , I didn’t get any paperwork at all and I had to have them send it to me after I gotten home. But like I said I was very happy with the salesman in the finance department the rest of the support staff might need a little help . There was supposed to be $700 in money worked into the price of the car to get it shipped which I never saw and I did have to spend the extra on a plane ticket in two days of my time . So all in all it was an experience , still up in the air as to if the positive outweighed the negative .
Well, dude was a straight up used car salesman from the very beginning. Started selling me the car before names had even been exchanged. Used cars have used problems and I get it but they don’t think you should tell them about it! Very confessing and rude to my wife, laughed at cash offer and wouldnt even negotiate. Anyways, that dude is out smoking a cigarette right now but could have made at least 3k off of us. I’m giving it 2 stars because the cat was clean. Ty

We highly recommend Automax Atlanta. My wife and I drove down from Knoxville and purchased a
featured 2015 BMW 435ix. The car was just as advertised online, and our salesperson, Tasha, was
great. The atmosphere was laid back with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Vehicle pricing was
fair with very competitive finance options. Best of all - there were no high pressure sales pitches for
the car, extended warranties or other extras. We'd buy from Automax again.

Excellent communication from Shawn and Dwan at Automax Atlanta. After the first Toyota Sequoia (2016 Platinum) had sold, they quickly provided that feedback and recommended this similarly equipped 2013. Ultimately I bought a newer model Toyota Sequoia closer to home, however I would consider Automax based on good inventory and exceptional customer service.

Dealer didn’t reply, so I called them the next day to verify that the vehicle was still available and that it has the Auto Access Seat, assisted lift for disabled persons, they advertised. I was told yes to both questions, so I went in for a test drive. After waiting 15 minutes or so, the vehicle was brought around whereupon I discovered it did not have the Auto Access Seat, and I went home to continue my search. To be fair, out of the 36 nationwide results claiming to have vehicles with the Auto Access Seat only 4 or 5 actually did.

Very disappointed; the car advertised for one price but didn’t sell it to me though I put money down. Told me he felt like something was wrong with the car and didn’t want to sell it to me, but advertised it for $1k more than the originally advertised price. If it has mechanical issues, why is the car advertised for $1k more than my original price?
Shawn was responsive and answered all my questions promptly. The car was delivered to my home for a test drive and paperwork completed electronically for a contactless transaction.
Freshly detailed, serviced, and new tires when vehicle arrived.

this dealer needs to be looked into for false advertisement and lies. this car was not price listed had to call, when called they said 5900, I asked if they would lower the price, they said to call back. WHEN I CALLED BACK THEIR SO CALLED SALESMAN OH THIS CALL IS PRICED AT 6988, ISAID YOU HAD THIS ON YOUR FLOOR SAYING THIS CAR IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND WAS AT 5900, I AGAIN WHY THE DISREPANCIE, HE OH WE PROBABLY HAD TO DO REPAIRS, WHAT A DAMM LIE,,, YOU OTHERS DEALING WITH THESE BUMS GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

ARIF is a good helpful professional. He is honest and very helpful. I do want the old Infiniti M37, but the price is to high when I can purchase A newer Infiniti with lesser miles, but cheaper. worst customer service i’ve ever had. very rude and “they” are liars. drove over an hour away with letting them know i was on my way about a certain vehicle to get there and be told it had sold yesterday when i spoke to them last night and the morning of claiming it was still there. just wanted me to drive out there to try and sell me a 20,000 vehicle when the one i was coming to look at was 7. don’t waste your time with them.

Company told me things about the car I was going to buy out right and have shipped to me so of course I done my research. I ran my own Carfax report and Read so many reviews of this business. My Carfax did not match what they were telling me and over half of the reviews were horrible experiences previous customers had. In the end I purchase a car elsewhere and my daughter is very happy with it. So glad I didn’t use this car dealership! Do your research people!

sketchy and they try to pressure you to buy for sure.
I am purchasing my 3rd Toyota Land Cruiser. I have been firm with my offer; they politely declined. However, I am ready to buy a car and I have been communicating with the. Since last Saturday. I requested photos that took a few days. I have also been contacted twice about what we can work out; I am firm on the offer and both times they have called; they say we will call you right right. I have heard nothing.

The car had a Carmax report stating there was damage to the front end and the air
bags were deployed. The dealership assured me that the car was repaired and has no
issues. There were only 3 pictures online. I asked if more pictures would be posted. He
said yes, by that evening and he would text me. I received no text, no call and there are
still only 3 pics. Seems shady.

They are complete scammers. We would discuss one deal over the phone and once we received paper work the numbers would be totally different than discussed. This happened several times. We would get approved for a certain APR and the next day we would renegotiate and our APR would suddenly change without an answer as to why. We are from MS and a lot of our applications were to the state of MN (we didn’t sign them of course.) The general manager couldn’t answer questions about numbers over the phone..it seemed he didn’t know much about financing as he was dodging a lot of my questions when confronting him about the bogus numbers on the contract. They even promised me a 90 day full warranty and clearly on page 9 of my contract it said ‘car sold as is..no warranty.” Like all scammers, they sound really good over the phone and can talk nice but numbers don’t lie. Don’t sign anything from Automax Atlanta.

My salesman Andre was great. However I was very disappointed with the fact that Automax did not fix the interior of the car as they agreed. I purchased the car on a Wednesday and was informed that the car would be ready by the weekend but no one called to inform me it wasn’t. When I reached out to them they told me it would be ready by Thursday of the following week. It wasn’t and when I arrived at the dealership which is 300 miles away, the car was not fully ready. The interior was not fixed and the car was not properly detailed. I asked about the detail and they told me they don’t do that. I even tried to see if they could fix it in my state or bring the car back. None of which they wanted to do. After a long discussion the finally agreed to see if I could bring the car back which is 300 miles away, really? Would have given them a 4 or 5 but when you agree to do it in a certain amount of time then do it. Especially when the customer pays you in full for the car.

Overall everyone I spoke with/dealt with was very nice and helpful. Process was smooth. We looked at the car at dark, so couldn’t see too well, but the test drive was good. Carfax report was great. While I was signing papers my husband was unloading our trade in to the new car and the new car wouldn’t crank. The person whom I was signing papers with said “When they sit for a while sometimes they just need to run for a bit.” Then told me if it didn’t crank the next day they would replace the battery. They jumped us off and before we headed home told us to bring it back for a car wash/cleaning. I didn’t think too much about it. The next day we noticed how not clean the car was. Whomever I spoke with earlier that day said they’d have it “ready” which I assumed meant clean enough to sell. Previous owner had an animal. we took the car for an oil change and the battery is bad. Haven't been back for battery or car wash since being told via phone car wash is “decent” when needs detailing.

The dealer responded promptly to my inquiry about a 2013 Mercedes ML 63 AMG SUV, so I setup an appt for viewing the next afternoon. I specifically asked about dents/door dings, and salesman (and ad) stated the car was in EXCELLENT condition, he had walk-around and couldn't believe how clean it was. I drove 45 mins, but when I got to dealership, I immediately knew I had been deceived about the condition of the vehicle. The vehicle was filthy, it had at least 100 rock chip on the front, curbed wheels, looks like someone used white liquid paper as touch-up paint all over the body, and a BIG dent on the door that would require body work to repair! The interior was dirty and driver seat was worn. I was done after 5 mins and walked back to my car. The Salesman and the Manager caught me before I left and the Manager did apologized for my disappointment, but I called out the Salesmans and told him I "specifically" asked about dents and he assured me there were none... BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Contacted them about a car I was willing to drive 3 hours to potentially buy as it was exactly what I have been searching for. I got a couple of replies, and then nothing after I sent multiple emails asking the same question. It’s a shame because it was the exact model, year, features, that I want and it’s still listed, but at this point I won’t drive that distance for a dealer that can’t be bothered to communicate.

Very friendly attentive salesman. Quick to respond. Although the Carfax showed clean (1 owner and no accidents) the car had actually been in an accident because the front had been painted and the bumper and rubber strip under hood not properly re attached. Another mechanic noticed that when I took the car to them for inspection. I learned two lessons: 1. Don't buy cars that come from the north or coastal areas due to the corrosiveness of the salt/snow/etc on the underside of the vehicle. and 2. Just because the Carfax may show "no accidents" does not mean that the car is clean. It just means that it was not reported to authorities or insurance. Unfortunately, I discovered all this after purchasing the car. Ironically, it is a beautiful car and rides really well. I just don't like being deceived. I want to negotiate off what I know about the car... especially from a dealer! I hope one day I will find out what really happened to the car....

Good people. Unfortunately the car I was inquiring about sold just prior to my call. They seemed very intent on helping me find another vehicle, but unfortunately did not have what I was in the market for.
I wouldn't hesitate to contact them for future purchases as they seem very eager in earning your business, and place customer service at the top of their list.
Make sure you get your own PPI done. Had one done on a vehicle advertised as being in great shape, inspection said differently. Entire underside covered in rust, multiple electrical gremlins, Auto tailgate inoperable, and more. Advised that their vehicle was grossly misrepresented by their description, they disagreed.

When I tell you Tim and Jacob are my saving grace, I truly mean it! I was a great experience! I’ve been told no for at least 3 months of searching. But these two made my day! I can’t thank them enough! Quick service!
First off, this is the first business that has made me write a negative review. Never before have I experienced such deceit even from other carsalesmen. Repeatedly lied ex: said car was sold and when we called back said car sold was a different car and tried passing it off, said they fixed all minor and major problems with the car which we took to a mechanic afterwards and it had a total of 4000$ in repair estimates from a rack and pinion leak and etc. They lied about fixing the car and the status of it (called different salesmen and get different answers). Wrote 1 owner when it had three and non smoking owner on description which was ridiculous as the Carfax showed 3 owners and as soon as I stepped into the car there were cigarette ashes all over the center console. Unfortunately I cannot write more as there is a limit on the amount I can write but if you are a potential buyer, stay clear. Stay far away. Bad business and shady practices.

Took 6 hours to get a trade appraisal on my vehicle. I had to call in. I spoke to the sales manager and he informed me after waiting 6 hrs that he couldn't get the vin number to decode. Then proceeded to tell me my car was worth half the value that it actually was worth. I am a sales manager at another dealership and was really shocked that there are still dealerships out there still this poorly operated. Want my opinion get a sales manager that knows what hes doing. Can actually appraise a vehicle for the correct value and have some customer service. No wonder why this car is still sitting on your lot. You customer sucks. FYI guys customer service, attitude and atmosphere of a dealership sells cars. You have the best deal in 300 miles on this Lexus and can't sell it due to your lack of customer service. Good luck.

Car was not in very clean condition though, per the dealer they expected to sell it very fast. Some issues with
the car found during the test drive. Dealer was very friendly and accommodating for me to take a test drive
even on a busy saturday. I would recommend, however expect the dealer fees to be high.

My advice is to just stay as far away from this
place as possible. I was interested in purchasing
a car from them from out of state and eventually
ended up putting a deposit on the car. After a
few red flags: reading endless bad reviews on
car websites and the better business bureau.
Eventually I decided not to purchase the car and
was told by the sales manager and another
employee that I would receive my deposit back.
That did not happen. No one would take my
phone calls and my texts were ignored, after
being hounded for weeks to purchase the car.

The dealer contacted me immediate and was very helpful. Gave me a lot of information and polite.
We did not realize until we got there that we were repeat customers- last purchase and trade in about 2.5 yrs ago for another vehicle.
Salesman. Excellent knowledge of the features. No hesitation on granting a request for 4 new tires, with loaner car readily given for a few hrs while they installed the new tires 3 days after purchasing.
Finance: Good financing deal since they were able to beat the interest rate on my pre-approved loan by .3% with a reputable bank.
After service: There is the added 2 year basic servicing in partnership with various car servicers in and around the area. Contacted and purchased on 11/3/18. Highly recommended!!

Not my idea of a dealer who is sincere or concern about its customers. The car I looked at (Audi A6) was dirty inside and out. It’s hard to get excited about buying a dirty car. Salesman didn’t know the product and was somewhat indifferent, he and his manager seem to have a take it or leave it attitude....they made no attempt to find a middle ground on price

The Lexus ES 350 was filthy. I advised in advance that I wanted to test drive the 2017 GS. When they went to get the car, it would not start. They alleged that it did not have gas but the key would not open the car. They stated that I could look at the car which was in the back dirt lot and filthy as well.

Good dealer who communicated and answered questions very promptly.
I drove to Atlanta to see a SUV after chatting for a few days with a very nice sales associate. He assured me the vehicle was in tip-top shape. When I arrived at my set appointment time, he was away with another customer. No worries but I didn’t know the car was open and ready for me to test/inspect. I was sorely disappointed in his assessment as the vehicle was in terrible condition... not at all what I was lead to expect. I went into the showroom to discuss and he still wasn’t there. I explained all the ‘wrongs’ and the manager was empathetic.
Look, they have cool cars, no doubt. But not in the condition a reputable dealer would have.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you step foot in their dealership... unless all you care about is looking cool (at least for a little while until the sweet looking ride breaks down).

Advertised pice of $2900, sent email asking for a out the door cash price, no response, so called and for nearly 3 hours before finally being able to get thru to a real person and spoke with sales manager for all of 30 seconds then was handed over to a salesperson. Told her what I was looking for and she said she would get right back with me. Several hours later she called back with a $4,200 out the door price. I asked how did the price go up so much especially if I was paying cash? Then it was explained to me that there was almost $800 in fees added to the vehicle plus the sales tax. Ok I understand tax and a paperwork, tag and title fee but there was a $600 fee she just as a flat fee added to all there USED vehicles. Not a new one so it wasn’t a destination charge like on a new car it was basically a fee to allow them to advertise it less than their true price. They were good about getting back to you and they will get you into a vehicle. I came from Alabama to look at a car that online looked flawless and I arrived to only be disappointed. Buyers beware!! The car had so much body work and touch up paint that wasn’t the same color as the car. I wasn’t satisfied with the car when I arrived so I left without buying anything. The other cars look like they all have been wrecked or had some type of body work done on them. I work in the automotive business and when I pull up and see wax all over a vehicle tells me you are trying to hide something. Once the wax wash off in the rain you will be very disappointed. Great people but cars looks nothing like pictures online.

Everytime I’ve seen a listing from this dealership I call and check on the availability on a vehicle and I get the same response. “This car just sold this morning”. They purposely NEVER update their website even though I was told they do it “once a week.” I’ve seen the same fr-s on their website for over 2 months. Don’t get me wrong their inventory is great just dishonest to get their dealer attention.

They were kind enough to let me know when it sold. I was on vacation and
couldn't get there in time!
I called (and sent an internet inquiry) about this vehicle Monday or Tuesday of last week. I was told that I could come in to look at the vehicle the same day. I received a call later in the day stated that the vehicle was not on the lot and had been sent off for "servicing". The sales person assured me that I was the FIRST person to call about the car and when it got back on the lot I would be called ASAP. Well low and behold, the car NEVER returned to the lot BUT it was SOLD while I was still waiting to be contacted about it. I felt the managers were EXTREMELY unprofessional and inconsiderate!
I had an email exchange in which salesman stated the car was still available. I drove near an hour to get there the next day and was greeted immediately. The same salesman I emailed went and pulled the car up from the lot to show it, and when he turned the corner it had considerable damage to the rear quarter. He explained that a coworker damaged it on the lot a couple days prior. Why wasn’t I told this in the email exchange, before I wasted all my time and gas driving there?

Purchasing experience was ok. However, vehicle had a gas tank issue which left me stranded after only 7 days of having vehicle. Dealership seemed to not care and never came to my aid. Had to get family involved in order to get issue resolved. Do not shop here if you don’t want spend your money to get ripped off

The info was not as reported by carfax. This vehicle has been rebuilt after wrecks. Body has been scabbard to rebuild the damage. Probably in NYC. This vehicle has been moved all over the US probably to cover tracks.

This car has been wrecked and they say it has a clean carfax. Over spray on the door jambs of both the front doors. Tires weren’t matching either, for a car with only 8700 miles on it. There was one lug nut missing on 3 different wheels. Do they even look at the car before letting a customer drive away?

Asked for a called back. Called in and went by to visit. Car was not in good shape. Headlight out, other things wrong, didn't start, 4 previous accidents. I was still willing to deal, at a lower price. Dealer offered no price flexibility, and added that now famous, "doc fee", which is "required by GA law" (No, it's not). I hate being lied to, and asked to come back to the store a 2nd time, only to find out that there was no flexibility in the price, because they had to pay for the stuff to be fixed, that should be fixed anyway. I'll never go back there again.

Drove two hours to purchase the car and we were $1,000.00 apart. The
sales manager asked me if I would raise my counter offer $500.00 to
buy the car and I agreed. After waiting about 30 minutes, the salesman
returned back to the desk and stated management will not do the deal.
So I got into my car and left. They charge $599.00 for their dealer fees
but lost a sale over $500.00. Wasted my time, should have been
somewhere waiting paint dry. Will not recommended.

Dealership maintained good contact but upon my visit to the establishment I immediately pulled right out and left. It was located in a very shady party of town and I barely entered the lot before more than one man came toward me in a very full, small parking lot. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

The amount of different emotions I felt was ridiculous. How convenient that the car was sold almost an hour before my appointment to test drive & buy it. You would think the sales person I was dealing with would have said, someone has an APPOINTMENT for this vehicle, especially after we communicated that same day & I confirmed that I was still indeed coming. I was contacted about the vehicle. Since they were opened on the fourth of July, my wife and I decided to make the two hour ride to buy the vehicle. I made contact with the sales person to tell her we were coming o buy. We we're told the vehicle would be up front when we arrive. Called again to tell the sales person we we're 45 minutes out. When we arrived there was no vehicle up front, in fact the vehicle wasn't even there. It was taken the night before for some repairs. We we're told the vehicle was in great shape and ready to roll. We we're very disappointed and upset that we just made a two hour ride for nothing. There was another car there we wanted to see as a second choice but it wouldn't even crank up because the battery was dead. I was very upset and left this dealership. Never got an appaulgy or saw any remorse. Would never do business with this company again. To be fair we did get a text saying the second vehicle was ready to drive but that was an hour an a half later. By then we we're sitting down at another place purchasing a vehicle.

There was something mechanically wrong with the truck that we feel the dealership tried to hide. By the time we returned from the test drive, the noise coming from under the hood was undeniable. We were offered several excuses, but none of them made sense. It is now 3 days later and they are still trying to repair it. We've moved on.
If you ever make it to AutoMax please make sure you ask for Annette- manager and Manny - sales rep. These were 2 outstanding individuals. I emailed to check on a vehicle and Annette responded right away and when I saw manager I immediately said wow. Needless to say drove out there the next afternoon to see if the vehicle was still available. Upon me going to the door Manny was out there and greeted me with Buenos Dias, Buenos Noches, Buenos Tardes... I replied mhm all of those hello, he followed us inside and asked if he could be of assistance I said yes I'm here to see Annette He walked to Annette and introduced me. Annette replied saying so you received my email I said yes. Is the vehicle still available she it is and asked Manny to bring it to the front. Manny showed me the specs of the vehicle and we took it for a test drive. This bar far the best test drive I've ever taken. Manny was very thorough and I appreciate that. We got back to the office and I immediately said I want it. Granted I gave Manny a hard time but his temperament never changed this was no cut throat deal. He actually took his time made sure I was ok. He ask the other manager Ray to come over for the loan process. It was completed and I proceeded to "JJ" Mr James J whom I signed my paper work with. We test drove a vehicle on a Saturday add left without buying. On Tuesday we spoke with our sales guy and told him we would be driving there (from two hours away) to purchase the car. We confirmed the next morning and told him what time we expected to be there. Due to a severe accident on the interstate arrival was delayed but my husband spoke to the dealership several times to make sure they knew he was still coming. My husband arrived and started doing the paperwork for financing. We were approved.
While my husband was inside the office doing the paperwork, another sales person sold the vehicle to someone else. My husband had been there at least an hour doing all the paperwork. The sales manager never even came out to apologize for "the mix up" nor did anyone from the dealership contact us after I emailed them.
Our sales guy had informed the other guy that the vehicle was SOLD but that was ignored.

Overall good. However, there were were some things the dealer should have disclosed.
1. No key to the lock pin on the trailer hitch.
2. The sound system does not work. I did not turn it on during the test drive and was half way home before I tried to use it.

Avoid at all costs, FJ listed as clean with clean carfax get
there and body is dented all over water in front

1/2 hours got there and he said it sold two days prior to us getting there. I had talked to him
the night before. There shuffle us back and forth between lying reps. I'm a COMBAT VETERAN

Dealership showed little to no interest in

then bounced between 3 salesmen and not a
single one followed through with the intention of
ever selling the vehicle I had interest in. When I

needs to be addressed by higher management or
owner.
This is not good business practice and will not
use nor recommend this dealership to any of my
peers. Clearly, in my experience, a customer
based relationship was soured before it was ever
established. This is bad for business at any level.

look at it. After driving two hours come to find
out car wasn't even there. The person that told
me this never even came out to explain another

I was promptly greeted by a courteous and knowledgeable Sales Manager. Unfortunately, the vehicle I wanted to see had been sold. They had a sizeable inventory of the same model by none that fit my price, color, mileage combination. He was not pushy and showed me around their lot. The salesman, Michael was very down to earth and friendly. Very pleasant.
I was there with my daughter to find a car on that day to buy with cash. I had researched options online for a month. It was my intent to buy a car that day. This was my first stop. The Honda fit was nice except that the bumper and grill were completely loose and could be moved up and down by hand.
I asked before I drove 50 miles to see the car if they could negotiate on the price. I was told yes. The salesman was attentive and showed my offer to the guy in charge, Omar. He shook hands on my price (drive out) then went to look at the loose bumper and came back and told me he had to have $200 more. He already shook hands on it but I still conceded... Everything proceeded and they took me to the financing room and the price came in question again. The price I negotiated was a drive out price and Omar then was asked to look at it again and he told me no. The price was now the sales price without taxes etc...so that price was only a $200 difference on the Internet price. I wasted valuable time after being told they would negotiate.
I went to a nissan dealer and bought a versa Note with 8,000 miles on it with every factory option and a bumper to bumper warranty for 36k miles and 100k power train. Navigation,heated seats and side mirrors, back up camera, push button start, xm radio etc...all for $12k. Very glad I didn't fall for the bait and switch that Omar tried to pull.
Will not recommend this place. I would not have came if I knew they would not negotiate

Despite another customer arriving minutes after we did for the
same car, the car was a great buy, so we did. Automax ATL is
expanding its lot size and office area, which is good as the
physical lot is crammed with vehicles. The advertisement
wasn't correct, exterior color was wrong, as was the
transmission description manual versus automatic. Both ended
up in our favor though. Negatives: no floor mats, cracked rear
number deflector, 1/2 tank of gas, no dome light bulbs, radiator
fluid below low, no antenna. They got us a new antenna, just
some attention to detail is needed. The car buying service we
used, flew by quickly in with finance MGR, Joel, in less than 30
minutes, at pre-agreed to price!

The dealership in Lilburn was very attentive to us- although the car we came to see was sold the previous day late in the evening. I contacted Mrs. Wiggins and told her that since then we have found a car, but if we were in need of another car, we would keep her as a contact. Their lot had many nice looking cars to choose from and we never felt rushed- very nice personnel to work with.

Lied about giving us a better price and confirmed that my deposit would be refunded if I changed my mind about buying the car...they would not refund my deposit when I changed my mind.

It says clearly on the deposit slip you signed that deposits are non-refundable. You cannot negotiate price after putting deposit as per deposit slip we are holding/taking the car off from the market and holding it for you. We all have to play fair.

Contacted them about a Lexus ISF I was
interested in. Messaged them to ask for
their best price so I could decide if I
wanted to fly to Georgia to test drive and
possibly buy the car. They responded
with the usual "come in and test
drive/talk about the car" I later messages
them to let them know that they had
failed to respond to my question and
that I would be finding another dealership
who might be able to answer my
questions. Soon after I received a text
message asking from one of their sales
people asking me to contact her kindly
about the car.... No thanks I'm good.

It is what it is, a shady used car
dealership. The salesmen are are
ok but all deals are done by the
owner. The trucks are nice and
most are as the pictures show
them. Make sure you get
everything done to the vehicle
that you want done oil change,
floor mats, scratches repaired
two keys,etc because you will not
want to go back to this
dealership.

I dont know how you find it shady , if I remember correctly your check bounced and you calling us shady not all used cars comes with 2 keys and floor mats but we are more than happy to provide them at wholesale cost

Will NEVER purchase a car from this dealer. Was told by a
so called mgr that they would hold a car we wanted until the
weekend so we could drive 2.5 hrs there to purchase it.
Called back the next day and they sold the car out from
under us. Salesman was not good at communicating with us
either. Most of the people there spoke bad english and very
hard to understand. I think the only thing they care about is
the green and not the customer..

Found the vehicle I wanted on the internet at a decent price. I called and put a deposit down to hold the vehicle since we are over 2 hours away. When we arrived we spoke with Ray, salesperson. We did purchase the vehicle that day. There were some minor things that needed to be taken care of and we brought the car back. I had called 3 times during the week to be sure we'd be taken care of quickly since we had such a long drive. When we arrived that Saturday we ended up waiting 3 hours on what they called "a 5-minute job" of putting some dye on a couple of the seats. Frustrated is an understatement. Also we purchased the extended warranty only to find when we got back home that the paperwork had the wrong vin number and year of vehicle. It took me 3 phones calls leaving messages to get someone to call me back to get that corrected. Even after all our aggravation, the sales manager would not even negotiate on a tire that had a tear in it. I was only asking for them to pay for 1/2 of the cost of a new tire. Granted I did not find the tear for a few days but considering all the other things that the dealership had botched, I think it would have been good customer service to negotiate. Salesperson was very personable and I would say most of this would be the responsibility of a sales manager.

in right before my husband and I got
there. Instead of trying to show me
another of the same make/model, the
salesman kept trying to show me
others, although I told him repeatedly
that I was very specific about the type
of vehicle I wanted. We left the
dealership and purchased the
make/model I wanted within an hour
somewhere else.
