How much does the 2015 Honda Fit cost?

Prices are up 5.34% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 421 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Honda Fit a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Honda Fit earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, excellent gas mileage, and impressive cargo space. That lines up with the Fit’s practical, value-oriented personality and its appeal as a small car that feels more rewarding than purely utilitarian. For you, that means it makes the most sense if you want an economical compact car that still feels versatile and easy to live with.

Good and great deals account for 29.7% of listings, so there is still some room to shop carefully for value.

Is the 2015 Honda Fit reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a practical, value-oriented car that people trust for everyday use, and the expert commentary reinforces that this Fit is expected to be inexpensive to own and operate over time. The cost-effectiveness discussion also says Honda has added three years and 36,000 miles of free roadside assistance coverage for the 2015 model year, which helps reduce early ownership stress.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear from heavy use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Fit?

At 55.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows signs of uneven wear. Focus on condition details that matter in a small car: cabin wear, road-noise issues, and whether the car feels tight and well sorted on the road. If possible, test the car in city driving and on rough pavement so you can judge how it handles the kind of use you’ll actually give it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX test car adds LaneWatch, but the feature is described as awkward and limited because it only covers the right side. The cabin is also described as a step up from the previous Fit, with decent-quality materials and a more refined feel, so you should pay attention to whether the trim you’re considering gives you the equipment you want without relying on a feature you may not find intuitive.
• Powertrain: The Fit uses a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower, and it is described as spirited rather than fast. The manual transmission is called especially fun, while the car also returns strong fuel economy, including 29 mpg city/37 highway and about 32 mpg combined.
• Safety package: LaneWatch comes standard on the EX test car, and the Fit also includes a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view. Models with HondaLink add automatic collision notification. The safety discussion also notes that LaneWatch only covers the right side, which leaves a gap compared with a traditional blind-spot system.
• Infotainment: EX and EX-L models use a 7-inch touchscreen with tap, pinch, and swipe controls. HondaLink support requires a connected iPhone, and the system can access supported apps plus an available navigation app. The setup is tech-friendly, but the controls for volume and station changes are described as less convenient than physical knobs and buttons.
• Fuel efficiency: The Fit is rated at 29 mpg city/37 highway, and the expert test car averaged 34.7 mpg over a week, beating its 32 mpg combined estimate.

Which 2015 Honda Fit trim should I buy?

The 2015 Honda Fit is offered in 3 trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the trim to consider if you want the simplest path into the Fit’s space, efficiency, and value. It should suit you if you care more about the car’s core practicality than extra tech or convenience features.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the more advanced infotainment setup and LaneWatch. If you want the strongest mix of equipment and price, this is the one to focus on first.
• EX-L: Choose this if you want the most loaded version and are willing to pay more for added convenience and comfort equipment. It makes the most sense if you want the Fit’s practicality with a more upscale ownership experience.

The safety content notes that LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, but it is limited compared with a traditional blind-spot warning system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Fit?

This is a seller’s market, so you should act selectively and be ready to move when you find a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 421 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 5.34% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 55.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,203, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Honda Fit's resale value?

The current average of $11,437 sits slightly above last year's $10,857.

That upward move suggests the Fit has held buyer interest well enough to support pricing. For a future seller, that’s a useful sign because a car with steady demand is usually easier to move without steep discounting. The Fit’s strong practicality, fuel economy, and value reputation all help keep it relevant in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Honda Fit safe?

The 2015 Honda Fit earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The Fit comes standard with a rear-view camera and, on the EX test car, LaneWatch. HondaLink-equipped models also get automatic collision notification if the airbags deploy. The main caveat is that IIHS gave it an Acceptable rating in the small overlap front crash test, which is weaker than the rest of its safety profile and worth keeping in mind if safety is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda Fit or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 55.1% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 5.34% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned 2015 Fit is described as a rare subcompact that feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive.

The bottom line: If you want the 2015 Fit’s blend of practicality, strong owner satisfaction, and rising market interest, it remains a compelling choice. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully for a listing near the low end of the range and verify history before you commit.
