How much does the 2015 Honda Fit cost?

Prices are up 5.10% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

Is the 2015 Honda Fit a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Honda Fit earns a 4.75/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the spacious interior, excellent gas mileage, and impressive cargo space. The overview also points to a car that feels fun, affordable, and practical, which fits the way this model is positioned for everyday use. If you want a small car that feels more rewarding than purely utilitarian, that combination is a big part of the appeal.

There are tradeoffs, though: some drivers found the handling less enjoyable and the engine noise a bit loud. Even so, 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2015 Honda Fit reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a practical, value-oriented car, and the cost-effectiveness commentary says the Fit is expected to be very inexpensive to own and operate over time. The expert writeup also describes it as nearly bulletproof in terms of reliability, which reinforces the idea that this is a car built for steady everyday use.

Honda also includes three years and 36,000 miles of free roadside assistance coverage for this model year, which adds a helpful ownership perk. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the specific car you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t been worn down by hard use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Fit?

At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection. Pay close attention to body condition, signs of prior repair, and whether the car’s features and safety equipment work as expected. Because this is a small car, it’s especially smart to focus on how it has aged mechanically and cosmetically rather than assuming every example will feel the same.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX and EX-L models add the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment setup, while the EX test car also came standard with LaneWatch. That means the lower trims may leave out some of the convenience and tech features that make the car feel more modern.
• Powertrain: The Fit uses a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower, and it is described as spirited rather than fast. The 6-speed manual adds extra involvement, while the car still returns strong fuel economy.
• Safety package: LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, and the car also includes a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view. Models with HondaLink add automatic collision notification.
• Infotainment: The EX and EX-L models use a 7-inch touchscreen display with tap, pinch, and swipe controls. HondaLink connectivity works through a connected iPhone, and the system supports apps such as Pandora and Aha, plus an extra-cost navigation app.
• Fuel efficiency: The Fit is rated at 29 mpg city and 37 highway, with a 32 mpg combined estimate. In testing, it returned 34.7 mpg over a week.

Which 2015 Honda Fit trim should I buy?

The 2015 Honda Fit is offered in 3 trim levels: LX, EX, EX-L.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the trim to consider if you want the Fit’s core practicality at the lowest entry point. It gives you the basic formula without the added tech and convenience equipment found higher up the range.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and LaneWatch, giving you a more modern feel without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• EX-L: Choose this if you want the most loaded version of the Fit and are willing to pay for the extra convenience and premium features that come with it.

The safety content notes that LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, while the rear-view camera is standard across the model.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Fit?

Act selectively, because this is still a seller’s market and the best listings can move quickly.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 442 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 5.10% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 57.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $10,197, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Honda Fit's resale value?

The current average of $11,497 sits slightly above last year's $10,938.

That upward move suggests the Fit has held buyer interest well enough to support pricing. For a future seller, that matters because a car with steady demand is usually easier to move without heavy discounting. The Fit’s strong practicality, fuel economy, and value reputation all help keep it relevant in the used market.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Honda Fit safe?

The 2015 Honda Fit earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS and a top five-star protection rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety equipment includes LaneWatch, which uses a right-side camera view, plus a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view behind the car. Models with HondaLink also benefit from automatic collision notification. One caveat is that IIHS gave the Fit an Acceptable rating in the small overlap front crash test, so that specific result is worth keeping in mind when you compare it with other small cars.

Should I buy a 2015 Honda Fit or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 5.10% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The redesigned 2015 Fit is described as a rare subcompact that feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of practicality, value, and personality, the 2015 is an easy year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully and focus on the cleanest, best-priced examples, since the market still rewards well-kept listings.
