CarGurus Analysis: 2015 Honda Fit
overall

Summary
With 452 currently listed for sale and an average price of $11,417.00, 28.1% of 2015 Honda Fits for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Honda Fit 4.75 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.5 / 10.

Why it stands out
The redesigned 2015 Honda Fit stands out for blending practicality with personality. It is still quirky and remarkably fun to drive, yet it is also better than ever in other respects. That combination gives it a grown-up feel without losing the offbeat character that helps define it.
Honda’s strength with small cars comes through clearly here: the 2015 Fit is presented as fun, affordable, and practical, and it feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive. That makes it appealing to buyers who want an economical car that does not feel dull or purely utilitarian.
Owners also tend to praise the 2015 Honda Fit for its spacious interior, excellent gas mileage, and impressive cargo space. Some, however, find the handling less enjoyable and the engine noise a bit loud, so its strengths are balanced by a few everyday compromises.

Love this car. LOVE THIS CAR. Its small, but not cramped. Cargo space is amazing. So is gas mileage. Just expect to use a windshield screen--the windshield is really sloped and heats up.

I was surprised with all the accessories and features that bring the 2015 Honda Fit. The EX version I got is fully loaded with technology ahead of its time for the model. Not only the design and functionality is super well made, the interface with the multimedia and car features is great. The 6 Speed Manual Is super fun to drive and make it a hot hatch in the city.

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
The user feedback points to a practical, value-oriented car that owners feel good about living with over time, and the expert cost-effectiveness commentary says it is expected to be very inexpensive to own and operate. It also notes that Honda includes three years and 36,000 miles of free roadside assistance, which adds a little ownership peace of mind.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the car’s basic appeal and more about finding one that has been maintained well and not worn down by hard use.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Honda Fit?
At 56.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows uneven wear. Focus on condition details that matter in a small car: cabin wear, tire condition, brake feel, and any signs that the car has been driven hard or neglected.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The EX trim adds a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment setup and LaneWatch, while the EX-L content points to a more loaded version with features such as leather seats, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, keyless passive entry with push-button start, a power sunroof, and navigation. The base trim is the one most likely to leave you without those convenience and tech upgrades.
- Powertrain: The Fit uses a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 130 horsepower, and it is described as spirited rather than fast. The 6-speed manual suits the car’s playful character, and the fuel economy commentary says it can return about 34.7 mpg in combined driving, with official estimates of 29 mpg city and 37 highway.
- Safety package: LaneWatch comes standard on the EX test car, and the car also includes a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view. HondaLink models add automatic collision notification. The safety content also makes clear that LaneWatch is not a full blind-spot monitoring system and only covers the right side.
- Infotainment: The EX and EX-L models get a 7-inch touchscreen that supports tap, pinch, and swipe inputs. HondaLink connectivity works through a wired iPhone connection, and the system supports apps such as Pandora and Aha, plus an extra-cost navigation app.
- Fuel efficiency: The Fit is described as returning almost 35 mpg in combined driving, with official estimates of 29 mpg city and 37 highway.
Which 2015 Honda Fit trim should I buy?
The 2015 Honda Fit is offered in 2 trim levels: EX and EX-L.
Here's the short version:
- EX: This is the trim that brings the 7-inch touchscreen and LaneWatch, so it is the better pick if you want the core tech and safety convenience without stretching too far up the range. It is the trim that best captures the Fit’s value-first personality.
- EX-L: This is the more loaded choice, adding the comfort and convenience equipment described in the cost-effectiveness content, including leather seats, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, keyless passive entry with push-button start, a power sunroof, HondaLink, and navigation. Choose it if you want the most features and are willing to pay for them.
The safety content also notes that LaneWatch is standard on the EX test car, but it is not a substitute for a traditional blind-spot warning system.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Honda Fit?

- Inventory: There are 455 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices are up 3.21% year-over-year.

If you find a listing below $10,165.59, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Honda Fit's resale value?
The current average of $11,363 sits slightly above last year's $11,009.
That upward move suggests the market still sees value in this model year, which can help support resale strength if you buy well and keep the car in good condition. The combination of practical packaging, strong fuel economy, and broad appeal tends to keep demand steady among used-car shoppers.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2015 Honda Fit safe?
The 2015 Honda Fit earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.
It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.
The safety content says the car comes standard with LaneWatch, a rear-view camera with a 180-degree view, and automatic collision notification on HondaLink-equipped models. The main caveat is that LaneWatch is not a full blind-spot monitoring system and only covers the right side, and IIHS also notes an Acceptable result in the small overlap front crash test.
Should I buy a 2015 Honda Fit or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- At 56.9% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
- Price trend: Prices are up 3.21% year-over-year.
- Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- Honda’s expert summary says the redesigned 2015 Fit is a rare subcompact that feels more like a reward than a penalty box to own and drive.
The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of practicality, efficiency, and personality, the 2015 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, focus on the cleanest, best-maintained example you can find and be ready to move quickly when it appears, because the market is still leaning in the seller’s favor.
