Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Pilot Assist, which combines adaptive cruise control with lane centering.
• Infotainment: a large 14.5-inch central infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay.
• Range & charging: up to 310 miles on a single charge, 107 kWh usable battery capacity, and DC fast-charging at up to 250 kW, which should get you from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 30 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, it helps to review battery state-of-health, ask how the vehicle has typically been charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and confirm the remaining battery warranty.

Which Volvo EX90 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Volvo EX90 offers these trims:

• Plus: The entry-level Plus trim is the best-value starting point, bringing the EX90's core luxury, three-row practicality, and standard technology in a package that keeps the model's main strengths intact.
• Ultra: Ultra adds the active air suspension and suits you if you want the most polished ride and the fullest expression of the EX90's comfort and capability.
• Performance: The Performance model adds the strongest output in the lineup and pairs with Ultra equipment for buyers who want the most powerful version.

What Volvo EX90 do most buyers choose?

The Volvo EX90 years with the most listings are 2026, 2025, and 2027.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choices, more comparable listings, and a better chance of finding the right color, trim, and price combination. They also tend to be the easiest years to shop quickly because you can compare more examples side by side.

What is the Volvo EX90's resale value?

The EX90's used pricing shows a sharp year-over-year drop, which can create a more attractive entry point for shoppers. That kind of decline can work in your favor if you're looking for a newer luxury EV with a lower used price than its original market position. The 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Buy now if:

• Tech: Standard tech features for all EX90s include a large 14.5-inch central infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charging pad.
• Safety: Standard safety features include frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert, a surround-view camera system, automatic reverse braking, a semi-automated parking system, a passenger safe exit warning, a rear-seat passenger reminder with internal radar, and a traffic-sign reader.
• Starting price: The starting price for the base model in entry-level Plus trim is $81,290.

If you're buying used today, the 2026 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
