This car is a excellent commuter car with power to get you up and going in highway traffic to merge confidently and quickly, if necessary. The leather seats are comfortable on long drives (after my purchase I had to drive 2+ hours to get home) and there is plenty of rear seat room for adults of all sizes and car seats.

Well equipped for the price, the ride is smooth and can be quick if pushed.

This is my dream 84 GLi. I never thought I'd get one in so great a shape. The body is 90% rust free; some surface spots, plus it was lowered and has a big bite underneath where it bottomed out. I have raised it back to stock height. It got through one of the worse NE winters in years with flying colors. This thing picks up really nicely, takes corners like a monster ( until it has to wear snows, then not so much!) and brakes like it should, handles like a dream! I absolutely love driving this car. The smokey color is rare, and when all washed up it is a real beauty.
