What Volkswagen Golf do most buyers choose?

The Volkswagen Golf years with the most listings are 2016, 2015, and 2017.

Higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right color, mileage, and condition. They also often attract more shoppers because the market has had more time to settle around those model years.

What is the Volkswagen Golf's resale value?

Most of the model years in this table have moved down over the past year, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. One year shows a small increase, while the others show declines of varying size, so the pricing picture is mixed but generally favorable for buyers. The 2016, 2017, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
