Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Nine airbags are standard.
• Infotainment: The touchscreen navigation system came standard in our Three trim, and Toyota’s suite of Entune apps includes Pandora, iHeartRadio, weather reports, and web searches through Bing.
• Fuel efficiency: The Prius C achieves 53 mpg city/46 highway. The EPA lists combined fuel economy at 50 mpg, but there’s a catch. For one to get that fuel economy, one has to drive like Miss Daisy is in the back seat. For the Prius C, this means fuel economy will drop closer to 46 mpg in combined driving.

Which Toyota Prius c trim should I buy?

The 2014 Toyota Prius c offers these trims:

• One: The entry trim comes standard with Bluetooth hands-free calling, a fold-down rear seat, USB audio port, and remote keyless entry.
• Two: This trim adds a 60/40 split-fold rear seat, fetching two-tone seat fabric, and a center-console armrest with a storage compartment.
• Three: This is the best-value trim if you want the touchscreen navigation system, Toyota’s innovative touch-tracer display, and push-button start.
• Four: The top trim adds fog lights, SofTex heated front seats, and 15-inch alloy wheels.

What Toyota Prius c do most buyers choose?

The Toyota Prius c years with the most listings are 2014, 2015, and 2016.

Higher-listing years tend to draw more shoppers because they give you more inventory to compare, which usually makes it easier to find the right price, mileage, and condition mix. In this case, the most popular years also line up with the model’s strongest value proposition: affordable hybrid ownership with broad buyer appeal.

What is the Toyota Prius c's resale value?

The price movement is mixed, with one recent year easing while the others have moved higher. That means used buyers can still find value, but the market has not moved in one consistent direction across the model range. The larger increases show that some versions have become more expensive over time, so timing and trim choice matter.

The 2015, 2014, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Toyota Prius c safe?
