Why it stands out
The Tesla Model 3 stands out for potential buyers due to its impressive battery range and efficient performance, making it a practical choice for both daily commutes and long trips. Its sleek, minimalist design, combined with cutting-edge technology like the large infotainment touchscreen and Enhanced Autopilot features, enhances the driving experience while keeping costs relatively affordable compared to other electric vehicles. Additionally, access to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network ensures convenient charging options for owners.
Other model years to consider
When considering the Tesla Model 3, the 2018 and 2019 model years stand out as cost-effective options. Both models offer average prices below $20,000, along with strong user ratings of 4.8/5 and 4.6/5 respectively, making them attractive choices for budget-conscious buyers looking for quality electric vehicles. Additionally, the significant percentage of good deals—39% for 2018 and 37% for 2019—indicates favorable purchase opportunities in the current market.
The 2020 model also presents a moderately suitable option with an average price around $21,000 and a solid user rating of 4.7/5, although it has fewer good deal percentages compared to the earlier years.
Model years to approach with caution
The Tesla Model 3 from the years 2022 and 2025 present notable challenges in market positioning, with a significant percentage of users feeling that deals are not favorable. Despite a solid user rating of 4.6/5 for the 2022 model, the high proportion of users indicating less than satisfactory deals suggests potential concerns regarding value retention and pricing dynamics. Similarly, the 2025 model's average price is relatively high, compounded by a substantial percentage of users perceiving it as not offering good value, which may impact its competitiveness in the electric vehicle market.

What people say
Great car, very reliable and is perfect for my day to day routine and needs. If you don’t drive super far day to day, I would recommend this car!
Car is futuristic and so smooth. By far fastest car I’ve ever owned so easy to merge and get up to speed with moving traffic. There is more cameras on the car than Fort Knox so can see everything around car. The feature of breaking once foot comes off gas pedal can be changed but is most optimal and takes a little bit of time to get used too. This car has everything nothing it is missing!
Safest car in its category, and most advanced technology compared with other cars in its class. Great energy consumption , I averaged 245Wh/mile over 30k+ miles . The front seats are very comfortable for long drives, while the seating position and steering wheel adjustments range are bringing more value and comfort. I would always buy another Model 3.
This is my first EV and its a whole new experience driving one, so far I am very happy with the purchase because I truly feel like driving a luxury car that is stylish and aerodynamic on the outside and interior. The instant torque is insane, super fast and quiet. The leather seats are very comfortable. One of my favorite features is the console with that touchscreen display; the design is simple and clean and yet it is loaded with lots of multi media apps which is super convenient. The fact that the touchscreen is responsible for all of the vehicles controls is something that I need to get used to. Also, the standard safety feature and the auto pilot are the main reason that I wanted to purchase this vehicle.
Great car for someone who never owned electric cars. I love the streamline minimalist look but still packed with luxury feel and options
