Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: BlueCruise, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assistance, lane-centering assistance, intersection assist, evasive steering assist, and Turn Signal View
• Infotainment: Lincoln Digital Experience with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch center touchscreen control center
• Fuel efficiency: 20.3 mpg observed fuel economy and an official EPA rating of 17 mpg in combined driving

Which Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator offers these trims:

• Navigator Reserve: the base version, with the clean, minimalist cabin design, the 48-inch panoramic display, the 11.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display, and the standard 4WD setup; this is the best-value trim for shoppers who want the core Navigator experience.
• Navigator L: the longer version, adding more cargo room behind all three rows for carrying more people and luggage at the same time.
• Black Label: the top trim level, adding the most upscale presentation, quality materials, and the available Sunrise Copper paint, plus the Black Label Special Edition Package for a blacked-out look.

What Lincoln Navigator do most buyers choose?

The Lincoln Navigator years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2022.

Those higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you the broadest selection of listings and a strong mix of pricing and deal availability. They also sit close enough to the newest redesigns to deliver modern features while still offering more used-market value than brand-new inventory.

What is the Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The table shows broad year-over-year price declines across the lineup, which is good news if you're shopping used because it creates more room for value. The newer model years are seeing especially steep drops, while the older examples are falling more slowly. That pattern suggests you can find meaningful savings across multiple generations, with the biggest price movement concentrated in the more recent models.

The 2016, 2015, and 2017 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Lincoln Navigator safe?

• 2025: 9/10
• 2023: 8/10
• 2022: 8/10
• 2021: 8/10
• 2020: 9/10
• 2018: 7/10

BlueCruise is standard on the 2025 Navigator, bringing hands-free driving on approved roads along with driver-signaled automatic lane changes and in-lane repositioning.

For the safest used buy, the 2020 and 2025 models both post the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Lincoln Navigator now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2024 model is at −15.19% versus a year ago, and the 2023 model is at −14.98%.
• Deal availability: The 2024 model has 35.2% good and great deals, and the 2023 model has 34.3%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $54,784. The Lincoln Navigator offers a spacious, upscale cabin with a strong sense of comfort and presence that makes it especially appealing for family travel and long-distance cruising.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Lincoln continues to use a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine in the 2025 Navigator. It makes 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, bolts to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and has a towing capacity of up to 8,700 pounds with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package and 22-inch wheels.
• Tech: For 2025, the Navigator adds the company’s Lincoln Digital Experience infotainment system with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch center touchscreen control center.
• Safety: In the 2025 Navigator, Lincoln uses BlueCruise 1.4, the latest version with driver-signaled automatic lane changes and in-lane repositioning to give large trucks traveling in an adjacent lane a little more room.
• Starting price: With a base price of more than $100,000 (including the destination charge), the 2025 Lincoln Navigator is more expensive than the BMW X7, Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX80, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Land Rover Defender 130, and Mercedes-Benz GLS.

If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
