Which Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2025 Lincoln Navigator offers these trims:

• Navigator Reserve: the base version, with the Lincoln Digital Experience, a 48-inch panoramic display, an 11.1-inch touchscreen, standard 4WD, and standard BlueCruise; this is the best-value starting point if you want the core luxury and tech package.
• Navigator L: the longer version, adding more cargo room behind all three rows for buyers who want extra space for people and luggage.
• Navigator Black Label: the top trim level, adding the most upscale presentation, quality materials, and exclusive themes such as Enlighten and Atmospheric.
• Navigator L Black Label: the long-wheelbase Black Label, combining the extra cargo room of the L with the top-trim luxury treatment.

What Lincoln Navigator do most buyers choose?

The Lincoln Navigator years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

Those higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you the broadest selection of trims, prices, and condition levels. They also sit close enough to the newest redesigns to deliver modern features while still offering more value than the latest model year.

What is the Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The table shows broad year-over-year price declines across the lineup, which is good news if you’re shopping used. Most model years are down by double digits, so you can find meaningful savings compared with a year ago. The smallest change appears in the oldest model years listed, while the newer ones show the steepest drops.

The 2016, 2015, and 2017 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Lincoln Navigator now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2024 model is at −15.08% versus a year ago, and the 2023 model is at −14.98%.
• Deal availability: The 2024 model has 35.2% good and great deals, and the 2023 model has 35.9%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $63,818. The Lincoln Navigator offers a spacious, comfort-focused cabin with a strong luxury presence.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Lincoln continues to use a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine in the 2025 Navigator. It makes 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, bolts to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and has a towing capacity of up to 8,700 pounds with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package and 22-inch wheels.
• Tech: For 2025, the Navigator adds the company’s Lincoln Digital Experience infotainment system with a 48-inch panoramic display and an 11.1-inch center touchscreen control center.
• Safety: In the 2025 Navigator, Lincoln uses BlueCruise 1.4, the latest version with driver-signaled automatic lane changes and in-lane repositioning to give large trucks traveling in an adjacent lane a little more room.
• Starting price: With a base price of more than $100,000 including the destination charge, the 2025 Lincoln Navigator sits at the premium end of the segment.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
