• Safety package: Honda Sensing
• Infotainment: 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto
• Fuel efficiency: According to the EPA, the 2025 Odyssey should get 22 mpg in combined driving.

Which Honda Odyssey trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Odyssey offers these trims:

• EX-L: This is the entry point for 2025, and it gives you the core Odyssey experience with the updated cabin and family-friendly layout.
• Sport-L: This adds a sportier appearance and sits above EX-L for buyers who want a more distinctive look.
• Touring: This trim adds front and rear parking sensors, rear-seat entertainment, and other convenience upgrades that make it a strong value choice for families.
• Elite: This is the top trim, bringing the most upscale equipment and the fullest feature set.

What Honda Odyssey do most buyers choose?

The Honda Odyssey years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, more pricing flexibility, and a better chance of finding the trim and condition you want.

What is the Honda Odyssey's resale value?

Most Odyssey model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it creates more room for value. The steepest drops are concentrated in the newer model years, while older examples show smaller declines. That pattern suggests recent inventory has softened the most, giving you stronger negotiating leverage on newer used Odysseys.

The 2015, 2017, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Honda Odyssey now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −17.63% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −8.25%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 40.3% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 40.5%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $34,762. The Honda Odyssey offers a roomy, family-friendly cabin with flexible seating and a long-standing reputation for everyday practicality.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Under its stubby hood, you’ll find a tried-and-true 3.5-liter V6 engine making 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission delivers that motive force to the Odyssey’s front wheels.
• Tech: A new 7-inch digital driver display pairs with an analog speedometer, and the minivan adds a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a faster processor for quicker response to inputs.
• Safety: Every 2025 Odyssey has Honda Sensing, a collection of driving-assistance systems.
• Starting price: For 2025, the Odyssey comes in EX-L, Sport-L, Touring, and Elite trim levels. With the departure of the base EX trim, the most affordable version of the Odyssey jumps higher in price, to $42,220 from $38,240 for last year’s EX model.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
