Why it stands out
The GMC Acadia is a solid choice for families seeking a midsize SUV that balances spaciousness and comfort. Additionally, its competitive pricing in the used market makes it an attractive option for those looking for value without sacrificing quality.
Other model years to consider
When considering the GMC Acadia, model years 2019, 2020, and 2021 stand out for their affordability and quality ratings. The 2019 model offers a compelling average price of $18,936 while maintaining a solid user rating of 4.5/5, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. The 2020 and 2021 models provide excellent user ratings of 4.8/5 and are available at reasonable prices of $22,319 and $24,896 respectively, with a significant proportion of inventory classified as good or great deals.
Model years to approach with caution
When considering the GMC Acadia across various model years, the 2014 and 2013 models present moderate suitability due to their competitive pricing and relatively high user ratings, despite a notable percentage of listings classified as not good/great deals. The 2016 model, while higher in average price, has a slightly lower user rating and similarly faces availability challenges with a significant portion not classified as favorable. Conversely, older models like the 2011 and 2010 are less suitable due to their lower average prices but also face a high percentage of listings that do not represent good deals.

The GMC Acadia is well-regarded for its spacious interior, comfort, and a range of family-friendly features, making it a popular choice among many owners over the years. Drivers frequently praise its smooth ride and overall value, with additional appreciation for the powerful V-6 engine available in some models. However, there are common concerns regarding fuel economy and limited cargo space in certain configurations. What people say
We are pleased with the SLE features. Compared to our Equinox LT, it was missing heated front seats, a powered driver’s seat and lift gate. However, the 3rd row was an upgrade that we needed. The V-6 engine is also strong. We sacrificed gas mileage, but upgraded in cabin space, so it was a win for us.
Absolutely love this car! Perfect car for road trips or for people with kids. Spacious, drives smooth, many amazing features!
This car has just about everything, and is awesome! It gets great gas mileage. The only thing missing I would prefer is a heated steering wheel. Plenty of space with an optional third row of seating. This compares to a Chevy Traverse.
I love the Acadia, I have driven Tahoes for 10 years and I wanted something a little better on gas but didn’t want to give up the seating! The Denali is on fire, beautiful, luxurious and comfortable! Could. It ask for better features and comfort! If you are looking for seating 6-7 and more economical thank a full size suv, I would definitely recommend!
I love the interior features. The size is roomy.
