Is the Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

Yes — the Chevrolet Blazer earns strong owner approval across its full run, and the all-generations owner rating is 4.39/5 across every model year in the data.

Key things to evaluate:

• Infotainment: A 10.2-inch touchscreen is standard on all models, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: EPA fuel-economy ratings for four-cylinder base models are 25 mpg combined (22 mpg city, 29 mpg highway) with FWD and 24 mpg combined (22 mpg city, 27 mpg highway) with AWD. The V6 engine’s great acceleration doesn’t come with too much of an efficiency penalty, as V6 models are rated at 22 mpg combined (19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway) with FWD and 21 mpg combined (19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway) with AWD.

Which Chevrolet Blazer trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Blazer offers these trims:

• 2LT: The entry trim brings the 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Chevy Safety Assist, and the core comfort and connectivity features that make the Blazer easy to live with.
• 3LT: This trim adds access to the available V6 and more of the higher-end equipment, making it a strong step up if you want more power and broader feature availability.
• RS: The RS stands out with the V6 as standard, plus the sportier presentation and the richer tech and audio setup that suit buyers who want the most expressive version.
• Premier: This trim adds the upscale equipment and available safety content that make it the most comfort-focused choice in the lineup.

What Chevrolet Blazer do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Blazer years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Those higher-volume years tend to draw the most attention because they combine broad availability with newer features and familiar equipment. They also give you more chances to compare prices, trims, and deal quality before you buy.

What is the Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the lineup, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. Several years have seen double-digit drops, while the smaller declines suggest some recent models are softening more gradually.

The 2023, 2024, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Chevrolet Blazer safe?

• 2023: 7/10

• 2021: 7/10
• 2019: 7/10

The 2023 Blazer includes Chevy Safety Assist, which brings automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and automatic high beams.

For the safest used buy, the 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023 models all post the highest confirmed score of 7/10.
