What Audi A8 do most buyers choose?

The Audi A8 years with the most listings are 2020, 2022, and 2018.

Higher-volume years tend to draw more shoppers because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right trim, mileage, and price combination. They also often surface more deal opportunities simply because there are more listings in play.

What is the Audi A8's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the model years listed, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. Several years have seen double-digit drops, while the smallest changes are still negative, so the pricing trend is clearly softer across the board.

The 2014, 2015, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Audi A8 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2021 model is at −16.19% versus a year ago, and the 2020 model is at −7.61%.
• Deal availability: The 2020 model has 37.4% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2020 model has the most listings at a current average price of $33,867.

If you're buying used today, the 2020 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
