Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Audi Pre Sense Front, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, a vehicle exit warning system, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot monitoring.
• Infotainment: a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.

Which Audi A3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Audi A3 offers these trims:

• Premium: This trim gives you the A3’s core luxury-sedan setup, including the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and Quattro AWD.
• Premium Plus: This is the best-value trim because it adds the Sonos premium sound system, SiriusXM 360L satellite radio, Adaptive Cruise Assist, Lane Guidance, and hands-on detection for the steering wheel.

What Audi A3 do most buyers choose?

The Audi A3 years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right price, mileage, and equipment mix. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for newer features without moving all the way to the newest model year.

What is the Audi A3's resale value?

Most Audi A3 model years are moving lower year over year, which can work in your favor if you’re shopping used. The biggest drops are concentrated in several older and recent years, while a few years are declining more slowly. That mix suggests there are still opportunities to find value, especially if you focus on the years with the sharpest price movement.

The 2023, 2019, and 2017 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Audi A3 safe?

• 2025: 8/10
• 2022: 9/10
• 2016: 8/10
• 2015: 8/10

Audi Pre Sense Front, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, and the vehicle exit warning system are standard on the 2025 A3.

For the safest used buy, the 2022 model posts the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

Should I buy a used Audi A3 now or wait for the next model?
