Which Acura TLX trim should I buy?
The 2024 Acura TLX offers these trims:
- Technology Package: This is the best-value starting point, adding the core luxury and tech setup while keeping the TLX’s stylish, premium character intact.
- A-Spec Package: This trim adds a sportier look and feel, plus SH-AWD and ventilated front seats, making it a strong pick if you want more performance-oriented equipment.
- Type S: This top trim adds the turbocharged V6, Brembo brakes, adaptive dampers, more robust stabilizers, quad exhaust outlets, and the most focused performance setup.
What Acura TLX do most buyers choose?
The Acura TLX years with the most listings are 2022, 2020, and 2019.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2022 | 767 | 31.9% |
| 2020 | 761 | 35.5% |
| 2019 | 697 | 35.9% |

Customers say
The Acura TLX has consistently impressed owners with its blend of luxury, performance, and comfort across all model years. Why it stands out
The 2022 Acura TLX stands out as one of the market’s best alternatives to a German compact luxury sedan. It brings a strong sense of road presence, careful attention to detail, and genuine performance capability, all while staying at a reasonable premium. Acura’s recent design renaissance is part of the appeal here, and the TLX benefits from that renewed focus without needing changes for 2022.
What makes the 2022 Acura TLX especially appealing is the way it combines sharp handling, stylish design, and premium interior materials. Those strengths give it a more distinctive personality than many shoppers may expect from the brand. At the same time, it is not without compromises: cargo space is limited, the back seat is cramped, and the touchpad interface takes some getting used to. For buyers who value driving enjoyment and a more upscale feel, though, the TLX makes a compelling case.
