New & Used 2027 Honda Passport for Sale nearBellflower, CA

Is the 2027 Honda Passport a good car?

The 2027 Honda Passport earns an expert rating of 7.8/10. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It’s a roomy two-row SUV with plenty of cargo space, a strong standard equipment list, and standard all-wheel drive on the base RTL. It also stands out for being one of the few SUVs in its class with a standard V6 engine, and the TrailSport trims add upgraded suspension and extra ground clearance for buyers who want more rugged capability without giving up everyday usefulness.

The trade-offs are clear: the Passport has a higher starting price than many rivals, and the seats are described as uncomfortable. Even so, its standard features and capability make it a compelling choice if you want a practical family SUV with a more adventurous edge.

Good and great deals account for 34.6% of listings, so there’s a meaningful amount of market value to shop.

Is the 2027 Honda Passport reliable?

The 2027 Honda Passport is presented as a well-rounded, practical SUV with a strong standard feature set and a straightforward V6 powertrain. It’s described as smooth on the highway, with enough torque for low-speed off-road maneuvers, and the TrailSport updates add more capability without making the vehicle feel less usable day to day.

Honda also loads in a lot of standard equipment, which can help reduce the need for add-on purchases and simplify ownership. The Passport’s standard safety and tech content suggests a vehicle designed to be easy to live with over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its higher purchase price can make any repair or depreciation hit feel more expensive than on some rivals.

What should I look for when buying a used 2027 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a TrailSport that may have seen rougher use. Focus on overall condition, signs of off-road wear, and whether the equipment you want is actually present on the trim you’re shopping.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RTL gives you standard all-wheel drive, a rugged look, and a strong base feature set, while the TrailSport trims add more capability and better materials. The base RTL is the one most likely to feel lightest on off-road-focused equipment.
• Powertrain: The Passport uses a standard V6 with 280 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and it’s described as smooth on the highway with useful low-speed torque for off-road driving.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, road-departure mitigation, and a driver-attention monitor. Standard blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, a rear-seat reminder, and a multi-angle rearview camera are also included. The surround-view camera system is optional.
• Infotainment: The RTL includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, Google built-in, and a rear camera washer. TrailSport adds the TrailWatch camera system, a front camera washer, a heated windshield, ambient lighting, and power-folding side mirrors.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the provided data.

Which 2027 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2027 Honda Passport is offered in 3 trim levels: RTL, TrailSport, and TrailSport Elite.

Here’s the short version:

• RTL: This is the value-oriented starting point if you want the Passport’s standard V6, standard AWD, and a long list of tech and safety features without paying for off-road extras. It’s the trim that gives you the core Passport experience at the lowest price.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim. It adds the upgraded suspension, extra ground clearance, TrailWatch camera system, front camera washer, heated windshield, ambient lighting, and power-folding mirrors, making it the sweet spot for buyers who want capability and equipment without stepping all the way up.
• TrailSport Elite: Choose this if you want the most upscale version, including the 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, rain-sensing wipers, and a hands-free and walk-away-close liftgate.

The TrailSport trims are the ones to focus on if you want the added safety and visibility gear, while the RTL remains the simplest way to get standard AWD and the Passport’s roomy, practical layout.

Should I buy a 2027 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2027 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2027 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The TrailSport trims get upgraded suspension, extra ground clearance, and a standard surround-view camera system.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It’s the redesigned model that introduced the Passport’s new look, interior, engine, and broader adventurous character.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date TrailSport setup and a strong mix of standard equipment, the 2027 is the better target. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2026 can still make sense because it delivers the core Passport redesign and many of the same strengths.
