New & Used 2026 Lincoln Nautilus for Sale nearDes Moines, IA

Is the 2026 Lincoln Nautilus a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus earns a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a strong fit if you want a luxury SUV that prioritizes comfort, a quiet cabin, and an upscale atmosphere over sharp handling. The overview and test-drive notes both point to smooth power delivery, a buttery ride, and a roomy interior, while the tech-heavy cabin gives you a distinctly modern feel. The trade-offs are clear: sportiness is not part of the Nautilus’s mission, and the amount of screen space can be distracting. It also has little power for the money. Even so, 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Nautilus reliable?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus is presented as a comfort-first luxury SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a hybrid powertrain that stays in the background rather than making itself known. The test-drive notes describe the hybrid as the clear choice in the lineup, with smooth, quiet operation and enough extra grunt for worry-free passing. Lincoln also includes a broad set of standard features, which can help reduce the need to add equipment after purchase.

The hybrid setup is described as the better choice for buyers who want more power and a calmer driving experience, and Lincoln’s standard safety and driver-assistance suite adds another layer of confidence. If the cost-effectiveness notes matter to you, the hybrid’s fuel-economy advantage is real, but the payback period is long. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you’re paying for a lot of luxury and technology, so any repair or maintenance issue could be expensive.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Nautilus?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this SUV leans heavily on technology and driver-assistance systems. Pay close attention to cabin condition, screen operation, and whether the comfort and convenience features work as intended. Since the Nautilus is sold as a luxury vehicle, you’ll want to make sure the trim and equipment level match what you expect before you buy.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premiere uses black or gray synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve upgrades to leather and adds a chocolate brown color option. The Black Label brings two interior themes, Chalet and Aurora, plus the most upscale presentation.
• Powertrain: The standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid adds an electric motor for 310 hp and 295 lb-ft. The hybrid is the better choice if you want stronger response and a calmer overall feel.
• Safety package: Lincoln BlueCruise is standard, along with a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, front and rear parking sensors, a driver-attention monitor, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, and front and rear automatic emergency braking.
• Infotainment: You get a 48-inch display at the base of the windshield plus an 11.1-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, digital key, satellite radio, remote start, and a wireless smartphone charger.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid is EPA-rated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. It’s described as 6 mpg better than the base engine.

Which 2026 Lincoln Nautilus trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus is offered in 3 trim levels: Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Nautilus experience with the core luxury look, standard all-wheel drive, and the full standard safety and tech suite. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim. It adds leather upholstery, adaptive dampers, upgraded Revel audio, a panoramic roof, and 20-inch wheels, making it the sweet spot for shoppers who want a more premium feel without jumping to the top price.
• Black Label: This is the most luxurious version, with higher-end interior trim, the Lincoln Rejuvenate relaxation system, the top Revel audio system, and 22-inch wheels. Choose it if you want the most upscale Nautilus experience and are comfortable with the price.

Lincoln makes the full safety suite standard, so you don’t need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Nautilus safe?

The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln makes a long list of driver-assistance features standard, including a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering steering, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, high-beam assist, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, exit warning, front and rear parking sensors, a driver-attention monitor, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, and front and rear automatic emergency braking. BlueCruise is also standard and can handle hands-free driving on mapped highways, including automatic lane changes.

The main caveat is that BlueCruise can be overly sensitive and may disengage when it loses track of the driver’s eyes or encounters construction zones. The vehicle also missed IIHS’s highest honor because it had not yet been subjected to the vehicle-to-vehicle front crash prevention test.

Should I buy a 2026 Lincoln Nautilus or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The 2026 Lincoln Nautilus is for the buyer who values comfort, luxury, and technology more than outright power and sporty handling.

The bottom line: If you want a used Nautilus that leans hardest into comfort, screens, and standard safety tech, the 2026 is a strong choice. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can still shop nearby model years, but the 2026 stands out for buyers who want the latest version of Lincoln’s luxury-first formula.
