New & Used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid for Sale near Indiana

How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 2.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,837 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable number of options to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The overview and test-drive notes point to a well-rounded compact crossover with a light refresh for 2026, a new TrailSport trim, a comfortable ride, and easy-to-use technology. It also benefits from the hybrid powertrain, which strengthens its everyday appeal if you want an efficient SUV that still feels easy to live with.

The main trade-offs are that its off-road ability is described as underwhelming, and the TrailSport version may not be the right fit if adventure driving is a priority. It also lacks SiriusXM radio and is noted for limited tech features.

With 25.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes it as a strong choice for buyers looking for an efficient, everyday SUV, and the expert notes reinforce that it is a well-rounded compact crossover with a comfortable ride and a hybrid powertrain that only improves its appeal. The performance notes also say the hybrid handoff between electric and gasoline power is nearly seamless, which supports the sense that the drivetrain is engineered for smooth daily use.

Honda says the hybrid system can deliver multiple regenerative braking settings and a one-pedal driving option, which adds to its everyday usability. The performance notes also say the earlier oil-dilution issue in the 1.5-liter turbo-four has since been remedied.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific vehicle’s condition matches its mileage and price, since this model’s appeal depends heavily on getting a clean, well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a TrailSport or a higher-mileage hybrid. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, and whether the cabin equipment works as expected, since the model’s value is tied to its comfort, efficiency, and everyday usability.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower trims are gas-powered, while the hybrid-focused trims add the stronger hybrid powertrain and more available equipment. The TrailSport adds orange badges, Shark Gray 18-inch wheels, Continental CrossContact ATR tires, black door handles, and TrailSport-specific interior touches, but it is not a true off-road specialist.
• Powertrain: The gas model uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque, while the hybrid uses a 2.0-liter Atkinson-cycle engine with two electric motors for 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid also brings regenerative braking settings and a one-pedal driving option.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and traffic jam assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard only above the LX trim, and front and rear parking sensors are standard only on trims above the EX level.
• Infotainment: A 9-inch touchscreen is standard, along with wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. Google built-in is available on the Sport Touring trim, and a 10.2-inch digital driver information display is included on EX-L, TrailSport, Sport-L, and Sport Touring trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid returns 40 mpg combined on front-wheel-drive models, 37 mpg combined on all-wheel-drive models, and 35 mpg combined for the TrailSport hybrid.

Which 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, Sport-L, and Sport Touring.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point to the hybrid lineup and the best-value choice if you want the hybrid powertrain without paying for extra luxury or tech upgrades.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the TrailSport look, the all-terrain tire setup, and the added traction theme, but keep in mind that the source says it is more bark than bite off-road.
• Sport-L: This is the smart step-up if you want more comfort and convenience equipment without jumping all the way to the top trim.
• Sport Touring: Pick this if you want the most features, including Google built-in and the premium audio setup.

Honda Sensing is standard on every trim, but blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert start above the LX trim, and front and rear parking sensors start above the EX level.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,837 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.34% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,390, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $38,172 sits slightly below last year's $39,086.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable point if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. For a future seller, the current trend implies you may not see rapid appreciation, but a well-kept example should still benefit from steady demand in a popular compact SUV segment.

The hybrid’s broad appeal, comfortable ride, and efficient powertrain should help support buyer interest over time. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid safe?

The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid had not yet been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at the time of this writing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard on every model and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, plus adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and traffic jam assist. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard only above the LX trim, and front and rear parking sensors are standard only on trims above the EX level.

The source also notes that the rearview camera’s resolution looks soft, and the TrailSport does not add extra cameras for forward or side views.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 25.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 model adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim, while keeping the hybrid powertrain and easy-to-use tech that define the appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this hybrid SUV and you value its comfortable ride, efficient powertrain, and straightforward tech, the 2026 is the better path. If you are mainly shopping on price, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2026 gives you the latest updates and a broad set of listings to compare.
