How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 3,274 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2026 Honda CR-V, and that lines up with its focus on practicality, comfort, and everyday ease of use. The standard 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging make it easy to live with, while the available all-wheel drive and revised low-speed traction management add confidence on slippery roads. It also stays centered on efficiency and flexibility, which makes it a sensible fit if you want a compact SUV that is straightforward to own and use. Good and great deals make up 40.6% of listings, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2026 Honda CR-V is described as a model that leans into reliability, safety, and economy, and its standard safety equipment adds to that practical reputation. Honda’s updates do not change the CR-V’s core formula, which remains focused on easy ownership and broad usefulness. For used buyers, that usually means lower drama over time, though you should still expect normal wear-and-tear checks on any example you consider.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the car matches the seller’s description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering an all-wheel-drive example or a higher-mileage vehicle. Focus your condition check on the interior tech, tires, brakes, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean daily driver from one that has been neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,274 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,452, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $34,202 sits slightly above last year's $34,158.

That small increase suggests the CR-V is holding value rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to a market that remains comfortable with the model’s pricing. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good condition, you are more likely to preserve a healthy share of your purchase price when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 40.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the better pick if you want the latest CR-V updates, especially the standard tech upgrades and the refreshed everyday convenience features. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may still make sense, but the 2026 gives you a strong mix of value, usability, and market stability.
