How much does the 2025 Toyota RAV4 cost?

Prices have softened 2.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,808 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2025 Toyota RAV4 a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 is a strong user rating for a vehicle that emphasizes practicality, reasonable pricing, and low ownership costs. The 2025 Toyota RAV4 is built around everyday usefulness, with broad configuration choices that include hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, plus a standard suite of advanced driver aids and available near-luxury touches on higher trims. It is especially appealing if you want a family hauler that prioritizes value, efficiency, and versatility over flash or driving excitement.

With 41.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still gives you room to find a competitive example.

Is the 2025 Toyota RAV4 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Toyota RAV4 is described as a practical, responsible SUV with a reputation for staying inexpensive to own over time. Its appeal is tied to everyday competence, broad usefulness, and a strong reliability record, which is exactly what many used buyers want from a compact crossover. If you plan to keep your vehicle for years, that kind of reputation can reduce the risk of costly surprises and make ownership easier to budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota RAV4?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the title and service history make sense. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or a trim with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, including interior wear, tire condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota RAV4?

Yes — this looks like a buyer-friendly market with meaningful inventory and enough deal activity to reward comparison shopping.

• Deal availability: 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,808 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $30,689, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota RAV4's resale value?

The current average of $31,780 sits slightly below last year's $32,547.

That modest decline suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the RAV4’s broad appeal and practical reputation should continue to support demand, even if pricing moves around in the short term. Because it remains a high-demand nameplate with strong owner satisfaction, it should stay relatively easy to resell compared with less popular compact SUVs.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota RAV4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $30,762, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $31,780 average.
• It remains dependable, roomy, and practical.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds more power, greater efficiency, and a broader range of configurations.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2025 is the primary choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value play. If you want the newest redesign and can stretch your budget, the 2026 is worth a look.
