How much does the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander cost?

Prices have softened 8.32% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander a good car?

The 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander stands out as a spacious, family-focused three-row SUV that prioritizes everyday usefulness over driving excitement. It gives you extra practicality over the regular Highlander without the higher ownership costs and on-road compromises of a larger truck-based SUV, and Toyota’s “adult-sized” third row is a major part of its appeal.

The model’s strengths are clear if you want a roomy, comfortable people mover with SUV styling and a more manageable footprint than a full-size alternative. It also brings plenty of cargo space, a more modern cabin than the standard Highlander, and a fuel-efficient four-cylinder-only lineup.

With 39.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander reliable?

The 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander is described as a practical, comfortable, and efficient three-row SUV, but the model also carries some reliability concerns in the broader buying guide. That means you should approach it as a sensible family hauler, while still paying attention to condition and maintenance history.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is less about the concept and more about finding a well-kept example that has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re seriously considering, even if the market looks clean overall. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re buying a higher-mileage example or one with limited service records. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and signs that the vehicle has been used heavily as a family hauler.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,267 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,962, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander's resale value?

The current average of $45,136 sits slightly below last year's $49,232.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can work in your favor if you’re buying now. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well your vehicle stands out against the large pool of available listings. If you keep it clean and well maintained, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.32% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $43,845, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,136 average.
• It offers strong efficiency and a broad range of powertrain choices.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2025 if you want the current-year market, a roomy three-row layout, and a decent share of well-priced listings. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the 2025 on average while keeping much of the same practical appeal.
