How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class cost?

Prices have softened 4.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 777 listings available, which suggests you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class stands out as a deeply tech-forward luxury mid-size car that still leans into the model’s long-standing strengths: comfort, space, and a polished sense of occasion. It has been on sale since spring 2024, and the current generation is described as the most technologically advanced version yet.

The cabin is especially distinctive, with a large digital display behind the steering wheel, a 14.4-inch central touchscreen, and available front-passenger screen space that makes the dashboard feel almost entirely screen-based. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with a blind-spot warning system, while the seats, materials, and legroom are all presented as major strengths.

For you, that means this is a strong fit if you want a luxury sedan that prioritizes comfort and a high-tech interior experience over simplicity. 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class reliable?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is presented as a new-generation luxury sedan that emphasizes comfort, space, and a polished driving experience. It has been on sale since spring 2024, and the current generation is described as the most technologically advanced version yet.

That combination of a fresh redesign and a heavily digital cabin means you should expect to evaluate the car carefully for software behavior, feature operation, and overall condition before buying. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a newer, more complex luxury model can be more expensive to sort out if anything goes wrong.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm that the car’s equipment and service records match the listing. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the electronics, infotainment functions, driver-assistance features, and interior condition, since this model leans heavily on technology and cabin presentation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 777 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $58,691, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class's resale value?

The current average of $58,915 sits slightly below last year's $61,828.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less immediate depreciation pressure than you might have seen a year ago. If you plan to resell later, the current market suggests the car is still holding value reasonably well for a newer luxury model, but the high starting price means future resale will still depend heavily on mileage, condition, and equipment.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.71% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,990, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $58,915 average.
• It offers a refined, sophisticated redesign with strong ride quality and premium materials.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a standard biometric fingerprint scanner and expands the lineup with an AMG E 53 Hybrid wagon.
• It broadens the appeal for buyers who want more utility and personalization.

The bottom line: If you want the newest used E-Class with strong inventory quality and a softer price trend, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better secondary path; if you want the newest tech and a broader body-style choice, look at the 2026.
