How much does the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class cost?

Prices have softened 15.76% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,285 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class a good car?

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class stands out for blending compact luxury-car polish with a distinctly upscale feel. Mercedes gives it a rear-drive layout by design, and the cabin is shaped by the brand’s larger S-Class, which helps the C-Class feel more premium than its size suggests. For buyers who want a small luxury sedan that still feels like a traditional Mercedes, that combination is a big part of the appeal.

For 2025, Mercedes added the third-generation MBUX infotainment system and new interior color options. The car also uses a large 11.9-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android are standard. The C-Class also offers a longer wheelbase for better interior space and 37.5 inches of rear legroom, though the trunk is still modest at 12.6 cubic feet. Safety equipment is a strength too, with blind-spot monitoring, a head-up display, and automatic emergency braking included, plus available adaptive cruise control and lane centering.

There are a few tradeoffs. Mercedes says the infotainment system can be fussy, and the touch-sensitive controls may take some getting used to. The trunk is not as large as some rivals, and the car’s tech-heavy cabin can feel overwhelming at first. Even so, the 2025 C-Class remains appealing because it combines strong luxury credentials, modern technology, and a refined driving experience in a compact package.

36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the car’s tech-heavy interior and controls may be more demanding to live with if prior maintenance or software updates were skipped.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the car’s background and look for any prior damage or title issues. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the infotainment system, touch-sensitive controls, and safety features, since those are central to the ownership experience. Focus on overall condition, especially interior wear and how well the electronics operate, because this model leans heavily on its tech.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,285 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.76% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,050, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class's resale value?

The current average of $39,050 sits slightly below last year's $46,354.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. If you plan to sell later, the current softness means your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. A well-kept example with strong service history should hold up better than one that shows wear or deferred maintenance.

Should I buy a 2025 Mercedes-Benz C-Class or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.76% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is a strong choice if you want the latest version of the C-Class with updated infotainment and a premium-feeling cabin, especially now that prices have eased. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point while still keeping the same basic luxury-sedan formula.
