Used 2025 MINI Countryman for Sale near Oregon

How much does the 2025 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 7.03% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 857 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman a good car?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns an 6.83/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It stands out for its expressive styling, premium-leaning BMW-based engineering, and a cabin that feels more special than most small crossovers. It also fits rear passengers well, carries a competitive amount of cargo, and stays fun to drive, which makes it appealing if you value personality and driving enjoyment over polish.

The trade-offs are clear: steering is dissatisfying, ride quality is poor, and the technology can be unintuitive. That means you should expect charm and character first, refinement second.

With 37.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman reliable?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is presented as a well-equipped, BMW-based small SUV with a premium feel and a strong safety-and-tech package. Its standard equipment and three-year, 36,000-mile complimentary maintenance coverage help support ownership confidence.

Its powertrain is described as lively and capable, but also rough around the edges, with clunky shifting and a stop/start setup that can feel awkward in daily use. That suggests the long-term ownership risk for used buyers is less about outright durability than about living with a drivetrain and cabin experience that may wear on you over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a thorough test drive, especially because this model’s appeal depends heavily on condition and equipment. Pay close attention to how the steering, brakes, and ride feel on rough pavement, since those are areas where the Countryman can be less forgiving. It also makes sense to verify that the technology and driver-assistance features work as expected, because the cabin’s controls and menus can be frustrating.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Countryman’s look changes a lot with trim and style choices, and the test vehicle’s Iconic trim, Favoured style, and 20-inch wheels showed how much more distinctive it can look than a simpler setup. Base configurations will feel less special, so you should compare equipment carefully if you want the more upscale appearance and cabin materials.
• Powertrain: The Cooper S uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and standard all-wheel drive. It is quick and nimble, but the drivetrain can feel clunky at low speeds, and the lack of paddle shifters is a notable omission.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high beams, front and rear parking sensors, a left-turn warning system, Mini Assist eCall, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. Assisted Driving and Assisted Driving Plus build on that hardware, but the more advanced hands-free function is tied to the optional Comfort Max Package.
• Infotainment: The Countryman uses a round 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, cloud-based navigation, and over-the-air connected services. The system is feature-rich, but the menu structure is complex and can be frustrating to use.
• Fuel efficiency: The official estimate is 27 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle returned 24.5 mpg. That gap is worth keeping in mind if you plan to drive the Countryman hard or spend a lot of time in spirited modes.

Which 2025 MINI Countryman trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is offered in 3 trim levels: Cooper S All4, John Cooper Works All4, and SE All4.

Here's the short version:

• Cooper S All4: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it delivers the core Countryman experience: strong power, standard all-wheel drive, and the playful character that defines the model. It is the trim that best balances performance, personality, and price.
• John Cooper Works All4: Choose this if you want the most power and the most aggressive performance focus. It is the right pick if driving excitement matters more to you than comfort or value.
• SE All4: This is the electric option, and it suits you if you want the Countryman’s style and space with an EV powertrain. The estimated 212 miles of range makes it the efficiency-oriented choice in the lineup.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the more advanced hands-free driving tech is tied to the optional Comfort Max Package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 857 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.03% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $34,657, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $34,657 sits slightly below last year's $37,278.

That softer pricing suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favor, which can help you get into the model at a more reasonable entry point. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and trim appeal rather than on broad market momentum.

Because the Countryman is more personality-driven than mainstream, well-kept examples with desirable equipment should hold up better than plain or heavily used ones. If you buy carefully now, you improve your odds of getting a stronger return later.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman safe?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centering assist, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, a left-turn warning system, Mini Assist eCall, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go. Assisted Driving adds lane-centering support to adaptive cruise control, while Assisted Driving Plus is the hands-free version tied to the Active Driving Assistant Professional upgrade in the optional Comfort Max Package.

One caveat is that the more advanced hands-free system is not universally straightforward in practice, and it is tied to an optional package rather than being standard.

Should I buy a 2025 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.03% compared with last year.
• Redesigned this year, it adds more space, BMW-based tech, and a broader powertrain lineup.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $29,262, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $34,657 average.
• It offers familiar MINI styling with easier-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the newest design, more space, and the strongest mix of personality and features, the 2025 is the better long-term pick. If your priority is saving money and you want a familiar MINI formula, the 2024 is the smarter value play.
