How much does the 2019 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 8.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 316 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2019 MINI Countryman a good car?

Yes — the 2019 MINI Countryman earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview describes it as a compact SUV that blends MINI’s retro personality with a more practical shape, while still keeping the round central display, chunky toggle switches, and playful design cues that make it distinctive. It also stands out for a sporty personality that helps it feel more engaging than many conventional rivals, especially if you want style and character alongside everyday usefulness. There are 32.9% good or great deals in the market, which suggests you can still find attractive pricing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2019 MINI Countryman reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a model that emphasizes personality and available features, with a lineup that includes useful equipment such as heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and advanced safety features on higher trims. It also notes trade-offs like a stiff ride, weak base engines, and smaller cargo capacity than rivals, so your ownership experience may depend on how well the specific vehicle has been maintained and whether its condition matches its asking price. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is ending up with a car whose charm is intact but whose wear, ride quality, or practicality compromises are more noticeable than expected.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 MINI Countryman?

At 69.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from cars with prior damage or repeated claims. After that, prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection, with extra attention to bodywork, alignment, suspension feel, and any signs that the car’s sporty character has been compromised by wear or repairs. Because the Countryman’s appeal depends heavily on condition and equipment, focus on how well the interior, electronics, and ride quality hold up in the specific listing you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 MINI Countryman?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 316 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $14,896, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $15,511 sits slightly below last year's $16,983.

That price movement suggests the model has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future sellers if they buy at the right number today. If you purchase near the lower end of the current range and keep the car in strong condition, you may be better positioned to limit your loss when it’s time to sell. Demand should also be helped by the model’s distinctive personality and practical appeal to shoppers who want something less ordinary than a typical small SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.6% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the Countryman’s distinctive styling and a market that has already softened, the 2019 is a sensible choice, especially if you can verify condition and find a well-priced example. If you’re more price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of history, equipment, and asking price.
