Is the 2025 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2025 Lexus ES is a comfort-first luxury sedan that emphasizes refinement, a soft ride, and a luxurious interior over flash or performance. It is especially appealing if you want a reliable, affordable, and well-equipped sedan that prioritizes elegance and understatement.

The ES also benefits from a roomier body, more rear-seat legroom, and a more modern cabin layout than earlier versions. Standard equipment is generous, and the model’s focus on quiet, easygoing driving makes it a strong fit if you value comfort and everyday livability more than excitement.

With 41.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market gives you a decent chance to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Lexus ES reliable?

The 2025 Lexus ES is presented as a reliable, easy-to-live-with luxury sedan that continues Lexus’s long-running emphasis on durability and calm ownership. Its appeal comes from being quietly upscale, well equipped, and built around comfort rather than complexity.

For used buyers, that generally points to lower long-term ownership stress if you choose a well-kept example and stay on top of routine maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should also prioritize a pre-purchase inspection so you can confirm the car’s condition, maintenance history, and overall wear. Focus on the cabin, electronics, tires, brakes, and any signs of prior bodywork, since a clean history report is only the starting point.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus ES?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 41.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 914 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.00% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,944, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $45,957 sits slightly above last year's $44,617.

That upward move suggests the ES is holding value reasonably well in the current market. For a future seller, that can be a positive sign if you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition.

Because the model is still seeing steady demand, a clean, well-maintained example should remain easier to move than a neglected one. If you plan to resell later, condition and documentation will matter a lot.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.00% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the latest version of the ES’s comfort-first formula and you value a calm, upscale driving experience. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you similar core strengths for less money, especially if you can find a clean example with strong maintenance records.
