Is the 2025 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2025 Lexus ES is a strong choice if you want a midsize luxury sedan that prioritizes comfort, refinement, and everyday ease of use. It is built around a quiet ride, a luxurious interior, and a relaxed driving character, and it also offers generous standard equipment for the money.

That makes it especially appealing if you value a pampering, low-stress ownership experience more than sporty handling or aggressive styling. The market also shows 41.5% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Lexus ES reliable?

The 2025 Lexus ES is presented as a reliable, affordable luxury sedan that focuses on smoothness and everyday usability. Its comfort-first mission and generous equipment list support that reputation, especially if you want a car that feels easy to live with.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the car has been maintained well and hasn’t been neglected in ways that could undermine its otherwise straightforward appeal.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s service records before you buy. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if you want to verify the condition of the suspension, brakes, tires, and interior wear. Focus on overall condition and maintenance consistency, since that is what will matter most in a comfort-oriented luxury sedan like this.

• Price trend: Prices are up 2.83% year-over-year.

What is the 2025 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $46,197 sits slightly above last year's $44,926.

That upward move suggests the ES is holding value reasonably well in the current market. If you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition, you should have a solid foundation for future resale. The model’s comfort-first reputation and broad appeal can help support demand when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.83% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary pick if you want the strongest mix of current inventory, clean listings, and stable pricing. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, but the 2025 gives you a good balance of availability and market support.
