Is the 2025 Lexus ES a good car?

The 2025 Lexus ES is presented as a midsize luxury sedan that emphasizes comfort, refinement, and everyday ease of use. It is described as a quiet, pampering car with a soft ride and a luxurious interior, and it is aimed at buyers who want a reliable, affordable luxury sedan rather than something sporty.

That makes it a strong fit if you value a relaxed driving experience, generous equipment, and an understated personality. What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Lexus ES?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you want extra confidence, especially on wear items, interior condition, and evidence of prior repairs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Lexus ES?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 972 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.97% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 91.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $43,944, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Lexus ES's resale value?

The current average of $46,362 sits slightly above last year's $45,024.

That upward move suggests the market is still supporting this model year well, which can help if you plan to sell later. A stronger current price level can be a positive sign for resale, especially if the car stays in clean condition and remains well maintained. For you, that means the ES may hold value reasonably well compared with a softer-priced used luxury sedan.

Should I buy a 2025 Lexus ES or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.97% year-over-year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary path if you want the latest version of this comfort-first formula and you can find a clean example at a fair price. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you similar comfort and usability for less money, so it is worth comparing listings side by side before you decide.
