Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe for Sale nearPonca City, OK

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe Willys ’41 Special Edition stands out with its tribute styling, including exclusive ’41 paint, steel-style wheels, a tan soft top, and rugged exterior hardware. It also brings a plug-in hybrid powertrain that adds strong output and electric-only driving capability, while the cabin and tech are described as easy to use.

The trade-offs are clear: it’s noisy, the interior materials feel cheap, and advanced safety features are not standard. That makes it a better fit if you want character and capability more than comfort and refinement.

Good and great deals account for 39.9% of listings, so you have a meaningful number of market opportunities to compare.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe is built around a plug-in hybrid setup that can work well when you recharge regularly, and the expert evaluation describes it as a strong choice for buyers who use electricity often and keep trips relatively short. The powertrain is presented as a practical way to reduce gasoline use, and the vehicle’s overall appeal is tied to its durability-minded, lifestyle-focused design.

The expert evaluation also notes that the plug-in hybrid can deliver better efficiency when you plug it in nightly, which supports the idea that it’s most dependable as a routine-use vehicle when you stay on top of charging. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Wrangler 4xe’s value and efficiency depend heavily on how consistently it has been charged and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this model’s appeal depends on both its plug-in hybrid system and its rugged hardware. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, and whether the vehicle has been used in ways that match its off-road character.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Willys ’41 Special Edition adds exclusive exterior paint, steel-style wheels, a tan soft top, Heritage Tan cloth seats, and an Olive Drab dashboard insert. It also sits in a lineup where the base setup does not include many advanced safety technologies, so feature gaps matter if you want more convenience and driver assistance.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid setup uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and an estimated 21 miles of electric-only range. It is described as quick and efficient when you recharge regularly, but less financially sensible if you rarely plug it in.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but it requires the Convenience Group as well.
• Infotainment: Every Wrangler 4xe comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Uconnect 5, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation is not offered on the Willys ’41, and a wireless charger is not available.
• Fuel efficiency: The plug-in hybrid returns 20 mpg in combined driving once the battery is depleted, and Jeep says it can recharge in 12 hours on a standard household outlet or 2.5 hours with a Level 2 home charger.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is offered in 7 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Willys ’41, Rubicon, Backcountry, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point if you want the Wrangler 4xe experience at the lowest price, but you should expect the fewest features and the least equipment beyond the core plug-in hybrid setup.
• Willys: This is the value-minded choice if you want a more capable-looking Wrangler 4xe without jumping too far up the price ladder.
• Sahara: This is the more comfort-oriented step up in the lineup and makes sense if you want a more polished daily driver.
• Willys ’41: This is the best pick if you want the special-edition styling and the strongest personality; it’s the trim that most clearly separates itself from the rest of the lineup.
• Rubicon: Choose this if you want the more serious off-road focus that sits above the mainstream trims.
• Backcountry: This is for buyers who want a more specialized, adventure-ready setup than the lower trims.
• Rubicon X: This is the top-end choice if you want the most expensive and most fully equipped version in the lineup.

The safety setup is still limited across the range: forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard, while the more comprehensive Active Safety Group requires additional packages.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have enough inventory to shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe safe?

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe earns a three-star rating for rollover resistance from NHTSA, and it provides three-star protection in frontal impact testing.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard on all trim levels. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but Jeep requires the Convenience Group as well before you can get it.

That limited standard safety equipment is a major drawback, and the expert evaluation also points to the Wrangler’s weak safety reputation overall. If safety is a top priority, you should be especially careful about trim and option content.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 39.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The Willys ’41 Special Edition gives this year a distinctive tribute look with exclusive paint, steel-style wheels, and heritage-themed interior details.

The bottom line: If you want the most distinctive version of the Wrangler 4xe and you value its plug-in hybrid setup, the 2025 is the right direction to shop. If you’re more price-sensitive, you should compare listings carefully and focus on the trims and option packages that give you the safety and convenience features you actually want.
