Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe for Sale nearKlamath Falls, OR

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe a good car?

Generally — you rate it 4/5, and the expert rating is 6.33/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe stands out most clearly in Willys ’41 Special Edition form, with heritage-inspired styling, a plug-in hybrid powertrain, and easy-to-use technology. It’s a strong fit if you want the Wrangler’s rugged personality and off-road character rather than comfort or refinement.

The trade-offs are clear: it can be noisy, the interior materials feel cheap, and advanced safety features are not standard. That makes it better suited to buyers who value image, capability, and the plug-in hybrid setup than to shoppers prioritizing a quiet, polished daily driver.

Good and great deals account for 50.6% of listings, which suggests there’s meaningful market availability if you’re shopping carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Wrangler 4xe’s plug-in hybrid setup is built around a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. It can travel an estimated 21 miles on electricity, and Jeep says the battery can recharge in 12 hours from a standard household outlet or in 2.5 hours with a Level 2 home charger.

That setup can make sense if you plug in regularly and use the vehicle for short local trips, because it can reduce fuel use and improve overall efficiency. Jeep also says the powertrain delivers 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque in Hybrid mode, which helps explain the strong performance impression.

If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that the value proposition weakens quickly when the battery isn’t charged often, so your real-world running costs depend heavily on how you use it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this vehicle’s appeal depends so much on condition, equipment, and how it was used. Focus on signs of hard use, since the Wrangler’s rugged personality can mean more wear than you’d expect from a typical SUV.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Willys ’41 Special Edition adds exclusive ’41 paint, 17-inch aluminum wheels styled like steelies, a tan soft-top roof, steel front and rear bumpers, 33-inch all-terrain tires, Heritage Tan cloth seats, and an Olive Drab cloth dashboard insert. The cabin is still standard Wrangler in feel, so base-level simplicity remains part of the experience.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid setup uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, two electric motors, and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. It offers an estimated 21 miles of electric-only driving range and 20 mpg in combined driving once the battery is depleted.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but Jeep requires the Convenience Group as well.
• Infotainment: Every Wrangler 4xe comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. Navigation is not offered on the Willys ’41, and a wireless charger is not available.
• Fuel efficiency: Jeep says the Wrangler 4xe returns 20 mpg in combined driving when the battery is depleted, and it can travel an estimated 21 miles on electricity.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is offered in 7 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Willys ’41, Rubicon, Backcountry, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point if you want the plug-in hybrid Wrangler experience at the lowest price, but it’s also the trim where you’ll feel the most stripped-down character.
• Willys: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it sits near the middle of the lineup and gives you a more appealing balance of equipment and price.
• Sahara: Choose this if you want a more comfort-oriented step up from the lower trims without jumping all the way to the more expensive off-road-focused versions.
• Willys ’41: This is the style play. It’s the one to buy if you want the heritage-themed look, exclusive interior touches, and the most distinctive appearance.
• Rubicon: Pick this if you want the more serious off-road-oriented setup and are willing to pay for it.
• Backcountry: This is for buyers who want a more specialized, higher-priced version with added equipment.
• Rubicon X: This is the top-end choice if you want the most expensive and most fully equipped Wrangler 4xe in the lineup.

The safety package remains limited unless you add the optional Active Safety Group, and Jeep requires the Convenience Group to get it.

The market looks favorable for shoppers who are ready to compare listings carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe safe?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe earns a three-star rating for rollover resistance from NHTSA and three-star protection in frontal impact testing.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard on all trim levels. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but Jeep requires the Convenience Group to get it.

That limited safety-tech content matters because the Wrangler’s side mirrors are relatively small, the steering is sloppy, and the vehicle’s crash-safety performance is not a strength. If safety is a top priority, this is a model you should approach cautiously.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 50.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The Willys ’41 Special Edition gives the 2025 a distinctive heritage-inspired look and a strong plug-in hybrid identity.

The bottom line: If you want the Wrangler 4xe’s plug-in hybrid setup and the most distinctive special-edition styling, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you can still shop the broader Wrangler 4xe lineup for a better value proposition, especially if you’re willing to step down from the special-edition trim.
