How much does the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L cost?

Prices have softened 10.01% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L a good car?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L stands out because it brings Jeep’s familiar blend of capability and premium features into a three-row package. It is especially appealing if you want a family SUV with a more upscale feel than many mainstream rivals while still keeping Jeep’s off-road identity intact.

For 2025, the Grand Cherokee L uses a 3.6-liter V6 rated at 293 horsepower and 257 pound-feet of torque, and Jeep offers a wide range of trims from more affordable versions to luxury-oriented ones. Higher trims add fine leather, advanced technology, Active Driving Assist, and even a front passenger entertainment screen, so the appeal depends a lot on how you configure it.

38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a meaningful pool of market opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L reliable?

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is described as a relatively new design, and Jeep’s approach here is to offer capability, comfort, and technology in one package rather than chase the simplest or cheapest formula. That means you’re shopping a vehicle that emphasizes breadth of features and configuration flexibility.

Because the experience can vary a lot by trim and equipment, your long-term ownership risk is tied more to how the vehicle was optioned and maintained than to a simple one-size-fits-all setup. For used buyers, that makes condition and service history especially important.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the specific listing matches its advertised condition and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the trim-specific features you care about, since the Grand Cherokee L’s experience can vary a lot by configuration. Focus on overall condition, maintenance records, and whether the vehicle’s equipment level justifies the asking price.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

If you find a listing below $38,717, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L's resale value?

The current average of $38,717 sits slightly below last year's $43,026.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle is equipped. If you buy smart and keep the SUV in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.01% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is a strong choice if you want a three-row Jeep with a premium feel and a broad spread of available features, especially if you value current-year pricing that has eased from last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2025 remains the better fit when you want the latest version of this formula and a healthy selection of listings to compare.
