How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 17.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,467 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and a 9/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It fits well if you want a spacious three-row SUV with a distinctive design, upscale materials, and thoughtful amenities. The Palisade also stands out for its strong value story, especially since it has aged well and still feels competitive in the midsize three-row SUV class.

Good and great deals account for 40.2% of listings, which gives you a decent chance to find a compelling offer.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Palisade’s reliability case is helped by its mature platform, steady refinement over time, and a powertrain that feels smooth and well sorted. Its ownership appeal is also reinforced by strong warranty coverage and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles.

The V6 powertrain is described as refined, smooth, and satisfying, and the ownership package includes complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you’re shopping an outgoing generation, so condition and maintenance history matter more than mileage alone.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing higher-mileage examples or trims with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, because the Palisade’s value proposition depends heavily on how well the cabin, tech, and driver-assistance features have been maintained.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SE trim level already has a clean, modern, uplevel look and feel, while higher trims add premium leather, artificial suede, seat piping, metal speaker grilles, and other luxury cues. Some metallic-surface control markings are hard to read during the day.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Palisade uses a 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. It’s smooth and refined, but not very fuel-efficient.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The SEL adds an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, the XRT adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, the SEL Premium adds Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, and lane-change assist functions, and the Calligraphy adds automatic braking when parking plus Remote Smart Parking Assist.
• Infotainment: The Palisade uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, and the system also includes two-device Bluetooth support, wireless smartphone charging, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluelink+ connected services, navigation, voice recognition, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the Palisade averages 22 mpg in combined driving, or 21 mpg with AWD.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 7 trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, SEL Premium, Limited, Calligraphy, and Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, and it already delivers the Palisade’s clean design and upscale feel. It makes sense if you want the core space and style without paying for extra luxury or convenience features.
• SEL: This is the trim that adds the ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, so it’s a smart step up if family safety tech matters to you.
• XRT: This trim adds front parking sensors and a surround-view camera, making it a better pick if you want more parking help and a little more equipment.
• SEL Premium: This is the best-value trim to target because it adds Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, and lane-change assist functions without jumping all the way to the luxury-focused upper trims.
• Limited: The content says this trim doesn’t improve on the SEL Premium, so it’s harder to justify unless you find a specific example priced well.
• Calligraphy: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with automatic braking when parking and Remote Smart Parking Assist for easier maneuvering.
• Calligraphy Night Edition: This is the style-focused top-end version, and it suits you if you want the most distinctive appearance.

The standard safety package is strong across the lineup, but some features are reserved for higher trims, so compare equipment carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

• Deal availability: 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,467 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.41% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,492, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $34,492 sits slightly below last year's $41,760.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well your vehicle is equipped and maintained, since the model is in its final year before redesign.

Because the Palisade still has strong demand, a clean example with desirable equipment should remain easier to move than a neglected one. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS, but a Poor result in the moderate overlap frontal-impact test kept it from repeating that honor in 2025. It earns five-star frontal impact ratings and four-star rollover resistance ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Higher trims add more advanced features, including an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system, Blind Spot View Monitor, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 40.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 17.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The outgoing-generation Palisade still feels competitive and well packaged.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $33,404, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $34,492 average.
• It combines distinctive design with upscale materials and thoughtful amenities.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The redesigned model is a meaningful improvement over the outgoing version.
• It brings more style, comfort, and versatility.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the strongest mix of value, inventory, and current-year appeal. If you’re price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better bargain; if you want the newest redesign, wait for the 2026.

How does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade compare to the 2025 Kia Telluride?

Our experts score the 2025 Hyundai Palisade 9/10 and the 2025 Kia Telluride 8.2/10.

The Palisade has the stronger expert score and a larger pool of listings, while the Telluride undercuts it slightly on average used price. The Palisade also has a better good-and-great deal share and a higher accident-free share, which makes it the easier one to shop confidently. If you want the stronger value proposition and more inventory, the Palisade has the edge; if you’re comparing closely on price, the Telluride remains a solid alternative.
